But I have seen a few people now who once were literally crippled by Lyme disease, and are now walking around effortlessly.

You're maybe 1/4 right. I had to look up who the heck is Kenneth Copeland, not being into Christian fundamentalism. Since you've never met John Douglas or experienced anything he has done, or anyone who was very sick and saw him, I find it interesting that you would just write a post that tries to put him down. You're taking things out of context and giving it your own slant.

Read the quote I posted above. In your world, "clairvoyant observation" equals "very scientific"? "He creates a vibration that kills micro-organisms"??? Really? This sounds "very scientific" to you? I'm no neuro-biologist, but what I'm realizing after reading your response to my post is Mr. Douglas seems like he's also mixing in some Scientology. Please don't tell me you think L. Ron Hubbard was "very scientific" too. Mr. Hubbard could perceive engrams from Mars that caused sickness and disease. Maybe that gets me to 1/3 right.

Every faith has a god(s), and every faith has healings. There are documented healings in Word of Faith (Christian fundamentalism/Christian Science), voodoo and Roman Catholicism. Hey, people get healed taking placebos, too.

You obviously have a slant as well, right?

Never read anything about what scientology does, except pertaining to Tom Cruise, so I can't comment on that.

My slant is that I have experienced what he can do with subtle energy. And how he has helped a bunch of people I know. I find explaining what he does is hard. If one has an experience, that is more concrete.

Placebos can work but I haven't heard of any working with people with advanced Lyme disease. All that I know is that if I or someone close to me had advanced Lyme disease, and medical science wasn't able to help them, I would asap be at his workshop to give it a try. Because, if it didn't work, then it is just like every other medical treatment which didn't work. But if it did work, then think of all of the suffering that would be alleviated. It is worth the try.

I appreciate your offer of peace and accept it.
