Would be a nice way for JimmieDikshot to sort of win back a small contingent of the Lin Debacle Aftermath/Yoot lovers by expending some lawyering shekels testing for cba loopholes in order to get Jorts back.

Even if it didn't work out, the feigned attempt and getting a possible wrist slap by King David would be nice PR.

I feel bad for Jorts. The kid can play and now he's screwed. To make matters worse, we can actually use him but can't.

Agreed, but I would hate it more if Miami picks up Jorts and continue to add to their depth
I think he would fit in nicely as their backup 3rd string center
Especially with his ability to spread the floor with the multiple shooters, he would fit in nicely
They already have multiple facilitators/penetration/Post Up Threats/Versatile players

As much as I would hate to see him not get an opportunity to continue to develop, it would kill me to see him with a competitor like Heat/Nets/Bulls
Would much rather see Jorts continue to develop in the West with Lakers or even OKC
In the East, he could also get playing time and develop in a team like Orlando
