I have a feeling most of us posters believe NY Knicks is the most attractive place for players and coaches to join. However, I keep remembering they only came because they were about to be washed up and came to sign huge contracts and then disappear, including coaches like Larry Brown. I'm trying to remember which free agency players or coaches that came in their prime (not talking about becoming great, but just starting their prime).

I think a big factor for free agency is MONEY. I think we missed out on a lot of big players simply because we didnt have the money.

For the most part i dont think players sign wih teams to be great or to win...they sign for money

Even though i hate the heat...i admire thier core players because thats the first example of players signing with teams for less money in order to win

I think the Knicks are in a new era that started with amare. Since you are giving an age range I would say ray, J R, and Brewer.
