According to Adrian Wojnarowski:

http://sports.yahoo.com/author/adrian-wojnarowski/

The Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers are engaged with the Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers in a four-way blockbuster that could ultimately deliver superstar center Dwight Howard to the Lakers, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
A deal is not considered imminent, but the talks have grown serious over the course of this week, sources said.
There are other players involved in these fluid talks, but a framework of the possible deal includes Howard and Denver forward Al Harrington going to the Lakers, Philadelphia guard Andre Iguodala going to the Nuggets, Los Angeles center Andrew Bynum moving to the 76ers, and Los Angeles forward Pau Gasol and Denver guard Arron Affalo going to the Magic, sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The Magic would have a better chance of moving Gasol in another deal to get further assets, sources said, and eliminate the risk of Bynum leaving them as a free agent in 2013. Nevertheless, there was still a sense that Gasol's and Bynum's destinations could be fluid in the talks. Either way, one would go to Orlando and the other to Philadelphia, sources said.
The proposed deal includes the Magic also gaining draft picks and salary-cap relief, sources said.

Does not sound logical.

Lakes just hired Eddie Jordan to install the Princeton offense which would utilize Pau's passing skill at the high post. Seems Iggy for Bynum must have more pieces for philly to give up. Iggy in for Affalo and Harrington? Seems like a great deal for Knuggs.

Can we talk about this or is this off limits given this is a "knicks forum"?

Shouldn't this be in the "NBA Forum"?

What in the living hell are the Lakers thinking? Replacing Bynum with Howard is questionable at best but to get rid of Pao also?

There must be more to the stroy but it seems like the Nugs give up Harrington & Afflalo and get Iggy in return?

Looks like its official!!
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Lakers will be favored to win it all. Howard, Gasol, Kobe, Nash who do you double off of?

According to this the trade is done. Lakers get Dwight Howard; Nuggets get Iguodala; 76ers get Bynum and Jason Richardson; Magic get Afflalo, Harrington, Nikola Vucevic, a protected 1st rounder from each of the other teams, Moe Harkless (76ers 1st round pick this year), and several other pieces. It actually looks like a pretty good deal for everyone except for Orlando who should've dumped more salary.

Lakers get Dwight for practically nothing. The Knicks franchise doesn't have the management, cache or even player demand to make such a move happen. Kudos to Dr. Buss on his multiple decades of excellence.

After doing more research I take it back, Orlando needs to be getting more for Dwight. Three mid to late first rounders, a middling prospect in Vucevic, Al Harrington and his 3 year $21M contract, and Afflalo and his 4 year $30M contract for Dwight and Jason Richardson is ****ing ridiculous. Of the four major trades that have happened over the last few seasons, Melo, Deron, CP3, and now Dwight, the Magic are giving up the best player and might be getting the least back. The only team that possibly got less was Denver.

magic getting gasol in other editions of this trade made it somewhat not so bad. he is now not included. wonder if sterno will veto this trade.

Bynum isn't exactly nothing. He's the best center in the league not named Howard. Breakdown...

Lakers: This deal is overrated in that Dwight isn't a huge upgrade from Bynum so it doesn't change the Lakers chances of winning it all next year (still puts them about even with the Thunder and not as good as Miami). It's great for them because they can build around Dwight after Kobe retires, assuming Dwight extends and is healthy.

76ers: This team made out like bandits. You get the second best center in the league and Richardson for Iggy? Can I nominate their GM for executive of the year now please?

Denver: Iggy is better than Al Harrington, so it's a win. Iggy isn't the superstar this team needs, but it's still pretty good for them.

Orlando got fleeced but they were in a no-win situation anyway.

Rod Thorn again shows everyone else how to gm. Sixers just joined the Knicks and Nets in the second tier chasing the heat and celts.

You forgot to mention Afflalo who has improved virtually every year he's been in the league. I think his stock is still on the rise while Iggy, to me has regressed some.

i don't exactly agree with this.

i don't think the celtics are in the first tier after losing rayray and im not so sure the sixers are going to be that much improved this year, had they not traded iguadola i would agree but bynum and holliday i don't think is enough to compete, especially with bynum's injury history. i honestly think the 6ers traded to much (iggy, vuvecic, harkless) just to get bynum and an old jrich. my assumption is that they are really hoping evan turner takes a huge step forward this year. he has the talent, but we shall see.

i still think its the heat and everyone else chasing them, but i do think the bulls/knicks are kinda ahead of the pack.

Nope. Doesn't ring a bell.
