There was a rumor Houston waived him but I never saw anything official. Knicks couldn't resign him for a year as part of the new cba. The New cba really bites but I think if guys around here became more knowledgeable about it and the changes from the previous cba conversations would be better and some of the conspiracy theories might be dropped.

I'd love to have him but his agent is saying he is the best big man available and he will not just take the minimum right now....win or get paid....ask Brewer how he feels about that?

jorts is no good and hes a d-league player...he was cut immediately by houston and no one is lining up to sign him...just like i thought

i wish him well of course...but he was never that good...i think we upgraded SO much from jorts!

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Where does it say he was cut by Houston? That's a two week old Yahoo sports rumor.

He's still listed on their roster. I would think the Rockets site would at least be updated.

Are you talking about Jerome Jordan?

Jorts can't sign with another team while he's still under contract with Houston.

We did upgrade but I think the kid has enough talent to have a decent NBA career.

I really don't understand the love for Jorts. He was a solid defender but a pretty poor rebounder and hardly gave any offense at all. Plus he has no athleticism and doesn't show much upside.

Lou Amundson would be nice to have behind Amare in the depth chart...right now the Knicks have Camby and KT...they are too old to be playing 35 plus minutes a night in case of injury.....and even though Melo can dominate the 4 too he shouldn't be playing the 4 just yet in his career.

Signing Amundson would cover all the bases....Kenyon Martin is old too keep in mind, and he is also an *******....he spazzed on his nuggets teamates before and refused to play for a while because of something he didn't like. Let's not forget he is literally crazy with that psycho tick he shows in interviews
