Dudes are going at it again about MDA, the trade and the boston series sweep.

I think the forums are dominated by about 5 "haters" and 5 "apologists" with a few ass*holes like me waffling about.

If Lin does well on a bad team I expect it to continue. Lin will likely make the allstar team if the popular Chinease vote stuffs the box.

Thus, "Lin is an allstar"!

If Steve Nash stays up all night and smokes weed and is pictued with stone eye slits he might start a trend called "Linning"! Like "Tebowing" or the controversial "Planking" but it will take tweeting by storm and cause an outrage.

Then if Rockets make the playoffs for some reason Marbles statue comes down and Lins goes up in his place. China will have to occupy Taiwan so they can lay right to Lin. Its complicated, Lins parents are nationally from Taiwan but ethnically Chinease.

Waiting in the wings is Gallo's breakout season. Just when we thought it was safe to bash him. Shy Wilson has been hidden so we can't go there either.

Other topics: Darko's rise to power and AR's obscurity.

In 12 months, we can do it all again when MDA takes a new job coaching the Nets.

It will be perfect cuz obviously the nets will have underperformed under the defensive minded Avery Johnson and the notion of MDA taking over will have MDA haters almost in a oblivious state of euphoria because MDA can't even spell the word "Defense"! Phil Weber will look great in Brooklyn and maybe he can study "goodfellas" and get him a '1968 Gran Prix with a clean trunk to tool around in.

All we got to do is win a championship and we can all be saved from the day of judgement.

It is not to much to talk about.
Knicks roster is set. All players are very predictable and the system we will play too.
When the preseason will start it will be some body for discussions.
So now a couple of folks with reharash the last year snow over and over.
Off-time on UK...

This is how the hate spreads. People come on here and spread things like this hoping that we will forget how good our team is and will be if they can stay healthy this coming season. Haters will be disappointed. Amar'e, learn all the moves from Hakeem Olajuwon and be sure to learn the Dream Shake so we can shut some people up. Chandler, keep doing a great job and being one of the best Centers in the NBA. Camby, thanks for coming back with great defense. You will be the 10 rebs, shot blocker that fits perfectly backing up Chandler. Thanks for coming Back Felton and we know that you are going shut some people up. Brewer, thanks for coming here and bringing great defense for cheap. J.R. you did it as well. We know you made sacrifice to come back to NY and want to be here like the others. Melo, 37 points in 14 mins? You will bring it Melo. Copeland is a poor man's Melo. Shump! We're glad you stayed and get well soon. Prigioni, you may be older but you dish like a young player. Kidd and the rest, welcome. Oh wait..how can I forget Novacane. He's lethal. We will win it all!

Actually, your prominent in most of those threads bemoaning the loss of Lin, belittling Felton and exacerbating the negativity. Part of the problem?

ITs not hate my man. Its being sarcastic toward the the hate that will come in any event. We succeed there will be hate, lose there is hate.

Take a bite of sarcasim and understand what it tastes like.

Im making fun of the hate fool!

The only hate I bring down is on Dolan.

Great post I agree. I usually love the summer league and offseason but this year things have gotten bad here.
UK should be a fun place to hang out.

Offseason was going great until the Dolan/Lin fiasco. For many the final straw for James Dolan. You can go all the way bacl to dealing Spree. A lot of frustration built up the last 11yrs with the owner. Very disheartening to think he is not going anywhere and you have to put on orange and blue colored blinders from now to eternity and continue to have his emotions run the team you love into the ground year after ear with roster turnover and never hanging on to his own players

It's my fault you guys keep starting threads ironically asking us to stop talking about Lin? I dare you to find the last time I criticized Dolan for letting Lin go or even praised Lin. I stopped talking about this a long time ago.

You talked about it today in the kid video because I suggested you ask Larry coon if the move was business/financial or an emotional response.

I didn't praise Lin or blame Dolan for Lin though - my blame was directed toward the remaining 6 poison pills from Amare/Melo.

Yea but dolan overpaid for Amare and then was forced to overpay for Melo who is better than Amare. No different than any other deals the past 11yrs. Knicks never get the clear upperhand in trades or signings. Dolans philosophy is to always overpay whether with moneybor young player and draft picks. Except when it came to jeremy lin and you had grunwald hiding in a closet in hopes that it would buybtime fir Dolans head to cool. Unfortunately his head doesnt cool he just looks for vengeance regardless of the consequences and what fans think. I wonder if I will live to see the day Dolan makes a trade where he doesnt get hosed. I have a lot more respect for teams like LA, San Antonio, Boston & Miami

Lindsey Hunter?
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Its all about hype and getting fans in the seats when it comes to Dolan. I will credit walsh for finally tearing the team down and starting over. In an attempt to bring in Lebron. A difference maker. Otherwise Dolan would still be overpaying forbanderson, eisely, spoon, marbury, mo taylor, tim thomas. Curry. Crawford. Francis. Amare and Melo

Oh and Jerome James

Oh and Jerome James

Lets talk about how Layden almost wiped the slate clean with expiring and keeping draft picks (closest thing to a rebuild moment) and then mid year (who hires a new gm mid year unless its a starphuch) Isiah comes in with Dolans checkbook and proceeds to build around Marbury spending money and draft picks like they were stolen!

That should keep it going the rest of the summer!

Same conversation.

Every body loves to pile on Layden (but Nedyal)cuz thats the easyone!

After the Dice trade we could have rebuilt! The impatient petty little man could not communicate with his public.

Never hear the little dude speak. All he had to do was tell the fans we are "rebuilding and let the contracts expire, draft players and develope and then sign free agents to fill in". Layden was an introvert geek and the wrong man to have.

So he hires the starphuch fluff in Isiah and the rest is history.

Since then its once clusterphuch of insanity. Even when we have good teams we have the wrong coach! Or is it the right coach with the wrong team?

Lin is gone, let it go
