Looking forward to seeing who will probably lead the Knicks in scoring on opening night after we kick the N*yets azz.

Not that that's all that important...

I knew I recognized that "Brooklynettes" look from somewhere....that movie from 1995 Clueless!

P.S. - Jay-Z...COME ON MAN. You're better than that! Put some Rocawear logos in there somewhere.

And in our top 5 scorer's home, no less!

I wonder if they'll sell more Knick paraphenalia than N*yets?

So, where are you guys going to watch opening nite?

Anyone have tickets in the rusty alien flying saucer? That will be a hot ticket and a great event for both teams! I always found arena and stadium construction very interesting. New buildings when high profile usually bring something not done before. I think the All high def scoreboard is the largest for an indoor arena. Dallas stadium has to take the award for largest anywhere! I read the Dallas video thing cost more than the old Texas stadium that was built in 1971! The new stadium holds more than 100k people!

The Bobcats scoreboard is similar to Brooklyn and can be distracting with lots of statistics and replays. I realize this is the new trend but it makes upper level seats more like watching at home. In fact, I go to less games now but have better seats because of that.

Im looking forward to the MSG completion and the flying bridge thingy!

But for this nite where are you guys going to watch?

Me, IM going to have a few friends over drink some beer and eat barbeque!

Im going to look at the scedule and do a Net home game and knick home game in one trip. Did that when Citi field and Yankee stadium opened. Was a fun trip!

I live down the street!

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

It's about as foul as the Pathmark Ratner built around the corner from it 20 years ago, and not quite as foul as the "atlantic center" he built right next to it 10 years ago. I thought we were going to have a Frank Gehry jiffypop Guggenheim type building!

That mall looks pretty bad from what I can see of it. Its not quite 7th and 34th is it?LOL!

Maybe in a few years when the whole project is done and other buildings around it perhaps it comes together. Good architecture evokes emotion! Is "repulsion" the first that comes to mind?

Both surrounding neighborhoods Ft Greene and Prospect Heights are beautiful with cool buildings and a lot of artists- Ratner's stuff has always been the eyesore even though he gets great press for bringing in **** box stores to otherwise hip areas

"Generica" has swept over the nation for years with homogenized box stores large scale able to bring volume and lower prices. They do employ people so we can't totally diss them but its a trend that we come to enjoy unfortunately. Small family owned business is the backbone of the country.

Anyone going to the game in person?

Watching the Nets on YES tonight. Lopez looks very good the first 2 games. I'm beginning to think they got lucky missing out on Dwight. They got to keep Lopez and Brooks etc

Brooklyn tonight on YES--this team will be no joke--this is not a bad team--a team that if healthy can beat anyone. A BIG pick up was Blatche--if you watched tonight--Im sure you can see it. Hes going to really help that team in many ways. No Marshon Brooks tonight--is he hurt? With Brooks Blatche Watson--theyll be able to get those needed bench points consistently. The Nets starting line up is scary-they are all good.
