The league obviously wants this to be a big rivalry. I don't think Brooklyn has a good team. I think they'll be in the upper .400s.

Bring it on! For the first time in the NYETS' franchise history they will have a sellout crowd due to the Broadway Bunch.

I think the Nets are a strong team..5th or 6th seed..a lot of teams dropped like the Bulls & Hawks. they have talent..not as much and not as deep as the Knicks though. But Deron Williams can cause the Knicks plenty of trouble. But I like our chances with Felton playing D on him vs. Lin.

I'm not a fan of having big games to start the season- Nets and the Heat back to back? Haven't the schedulers heard of a build up? I'd rather start the season with a few low key games, so there's a build up to the big games- whats the point in having the most anticipated games as your first and second? It defuses the tension a bit.

This was a .300 team last year. They add Joe Johnson, who is not a bad player but isn't anything special and Brooke Lopez returns. I don't see that doubling their winning percentage.

Wrong Title. It should read "Knicks open season in Brooklyn against the Nets."
Screw the Nets.

Definitely trying to get tickets to this.. I wouldn't be surprised if it's half Knick fans. How embarrassing it will be to open a brand new arena filled with opposing fans

HELL YEAH... BRING IT.

I'll be there, in FULL KNICKS regalia, along with a few other NYK fans I know.

We should have an Ultimate meetup for the game and toss down a few after the KNICKS finish thrashing the Nets' azzes in their new house in OUR town.

KNICKS. True Fans stand up and be counted.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Good! Let some other crappy team get overhyped for a change. We have done our share.
