He seems to be one of the three guys always mentioned when other players are interviewed. Also, I miss some of the threads showing knick players or prospects playing well. He definitely showed he can be a team player even in the season. This knicks team is tailor made for him so we will see what he's made of, especially with the expectations of him for this upcoming season, he's not the type to break under pressure and he should have a pretty big chip on his shoulders after all the lin vs melo drama. Think this is going to be a special year for us!

The last time Melo made it far was after the 2008 Olympics, after DWade teased him the whole summer about not getting out of the first round. Melo proceeded to have one of his best all around seasons and made it to the Western Conference Finals.
I hope Lebron is ribbing the **** out of him right now... |

Watch Lebron and Wade get hurt and miss like 50 games and we get the 2 seed and the Heat end up at 7 but are perfectly healthy at the end of the season.

He has been in situations with the Knicks where the team was decimated by injuries both years he has been here. Hopefully this year the Knicks are healthy going into the playoff. As much i hate lebron he had the right mindset after the 2011 finals. He was so pissed/depressed that he had a MVP season and ran through everybody. Now we know melo isnt in lebrons league but he needs to have that same mindset for us to have a shot |
