Why the Wizards suck:
Their "starting" combo of Arena/Hughes/Stackhouse have only played *2* games together. They've been hampered by injuries all year and don't have the front-court quality or depth that the Knicks have.

Why the Knicks suck:
The Knicks have yet to develop any devensive chemistry with all of the changes to the rosters and injuries to key players. Somehow our team is capable of scoring in the 100s when we don't have particularly good flow on offense.

We have the #1 PG in the league statistically, a top-5 potential talent in TT... and unbelievable depth in "supposedly" quality players. Mutombo, Baker, Houston, and Hardaway are damaged goods who are past their prime.
A frontcourt of Baker/Mutombo/Mohammed/Thomas/Sweetney/Harrington should be able to overpower other teams.

We're now riding a 2-game winning streak with the chips on the table. Huge game against the Nets at home on Friday. It'll be interesting to see who we have chasing K-Mart and Jefferson.

Again, IMO this team lacks the conditioning and discipline to make a real run. That's why pretenders like da Wizz has a chance for an upset

Wow....Lenny in the post game conf:

'Tonight was embarassing'

Isiah and Lenny killed the players for 20 minutes after the game:

Good read. The Wilkin's quote was used twice... How can you let the Wizards shoot 50%?

We'll see what effect Isiah's "Pep talk" tonight really had, on Friday against the Nets...

Not only should he dig on the players when they barely win (or lose), but even when they win soundly. That way, no one will rest and/or become complacent. This team needs someone to get at 'em, and Isiah is just the cat to do it.

It has to be instilled in this team that there is no such thing as relaxing until a Championship banner hangs in MSG.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

To think I used to blame JVG for their lack of discipline. NY is just cursed.

Huh...kind of off the topic. Knicks don't own that pick anyway. Suns do.

I wondering if Isaih made that speeech for certain players; like Houston per say.every time this guy goes down we have a hard time winning and it puts extra pressure on Marbury to score. I remember Isaih's playing days and this cat would play hurt.I really believe that Isaih was speaking to houston indirectly.

I think the Suns actually traded that pick to Utah to get rid of Tom Gugliotta...

It would be really ironic if Utah hired Layden and he used the Knicks pick to draft a future allstar.

You know, I saw Weis play so many times, I couldn't believe we lost a pick on him that yr.

Man, he's so freacking soft and slow... Even being french I couldn't get over that draft choice.

We just went to OT against the Wizards!!! If you want to make a jugdment about the team from such a win then go ahead. I have higher standars then this. Lenny put it best, this was an embrassment.
think everyone is underestimating the wizards as of late,Sac108-Wiz114,now tell me Sac is a garbage team.i just think some of the knicks were tired from that comeback against Mil.

Don't even go there. Wizards suck! Regular season records speak for themselves. Being at home and needin a last second prayer and OT to win is garbage! I dont want to hear any retarded excuses. Either this team plays up to its supposed potential or they fail miserably. There is no in between, too much is at stake, we gave up the pick, it better not be lottery.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
