Is that the actual picture of the current Jason Kidd's car accident?

I read that his wife was with him at the party. Was she in the car at the time, and if not, where was she?

And then there are the details, which are ugly. According to the New York Post, Kidd was extremely drunk, argued with his wife when a female fan wanted a picture and reportedly was carried out of the club.

A law-enforcement source described the alleged boozed-up baller who has a history of domestic-abuse and anger-management issues as having cheated death by just a few feet when his 2010 white Cadillac Escalade, racing at least 60 miles an hour,'' slammed into the pole, bounced off it and landed in shrubbery.
According to the report, Kidd refused a breathalyzer at the scene of the accident. He was evidently so drunk that as he was being processed and fingerprinted, he was singing.
Kidd was then rushed back to the hospital, according to the report, because of a complication with a sleeping aid he took.

Guessing after he got kicked out of the club, he hightailed it solo to his Hampton's crib. Ironically he crashed into a utility pole, causing Cablevision outages in the area.

he probably heard he would be "mentoring" Felton instead of Lin and went all Thelma and Louise and drove into the first blunt object on the wall

I seriously think this is plausible.

Felton deal is rumored saturday night at 10pm or so. Rumored Knicks won't match for Lin around the same time.

4 hours later, 2am or so, Jason Kidd has had too much to drink and drives drunk.

Kidd said he was thrilled to be coming to play with Lin. We haven't heard a peep from him since this news of Lin leaving broke.

Seriously. You think Lin has anything to do with a guy partying too hard on a Saturday night in the Hamptons with Ne Yo, Paula Abdul, Arsenio Hall, and Joe Johnson?

Kidd is an embarrassment. You're a 40 year old man acting 20. Grow the F up.

Wow never realised how bad the. Crash was. Maybe Felton can mentor him. Seriously though, is he facing jail time for this? What's the penalty for this sort of thing? I never get why rich people can't just pay for a damn taxi or driver if they plan on getting drunk.

Exactly, it's not about the stupid pole he crashed into or the cable outage, its about the lives he could have taken on the way. I can't look at him as this great person after the domestic abuse incident, however, if he had hit someone's mother, father, or a child injuring or possibly killing someone I would not want him on this team.

For all the people who were so utterly outraged that Melo said "ridiculous," I hope you find this puts things in perspective. THIS is what should cause outrage and a call for accountability.

He was partying in the Hamptons with George freakin Lucas, and driving his Escalade to his $6M dollar home. Apparently things aren't going well enough for him to be able to afford the luxury of a cab. I guess 39 is also his I.Q.
