I'll still be a knicks fan, except I won't watch or care anymore. Been doing this since 1996 - too ****ing painful. If we ever get a a new owner or new philosophy or even a real star player, I may care again.

Really its totally fine. This is like a really bad, abusive marraige. Your spouse keeps treating you like **** but you keep coming back. It really isn't worth it.

If you can ask that question then you never really was a Knicks fan to begin with. Players come and go but if you are trully a Knicks fan you stay with it. Look at the chicago white sox and the Cubs. They haven't won anything in 70 years but thier fans are loyal. Good by and good luck with your other team.

i've been a knicks all my life, too. i talked myself into trading away starks, oakley, mark jackson, ewing, camby, sprewell, gallo... but at least i could say there was a basketball logic behind those trades even if i didn't agree with it.

Give me a break nyk. What have the Knicks done to show they are going to ever become a serious contender and what have they ever done to display any sense of competence. This wasn't a basketball decision and money grows on trees in Knicks land so it wasn't financial. This was feeding Dolans and Melos ego.

nope. won't do it.

you can do whatever you want man. if it makes you feel better to stop rooting for the knicks, then do it. it's just sports - it's just entertainment. if you're not being entertained anymore than there's no point in investing time in it. we'll miss ya on the board (some we wont) but hey, waddya gonna do.

This team literally isn't about winning or losing or even making a lot of money or being popular anymore. Its about satisfying egos. I don't need to be feeding the egos of total imbeciles.
