From all indications, the Knicks are expected to allow Lin to walk, although there is no telling what Dolan, the eccentric and temperamental chairman of MSG, will do. One clear indication that the Knicks, upset that Lin went back to the Rockets to have the offer increased, are passing came from newly acquired point guard Raymond Felton, who told a South Carolina television station on Saturday that he was about to join the Knicks and that the club’s deal with Lin was off.

Raymond Felton does not want to come off the bench.

He will be a starter which is why he agreed to comeback here. Let not be silly here guys.

He isn't coming back to NY to be Lin's backup.

Frank always sites sources. One thing in that article stuck out for me. He said Lin and his agent sought to rework his contract. If this is true, big if with Isola, then Lin and his agent got the poison pill put In.

Felton is overjoyed that luck brought him back. After the season he had he wasn't dictating starting vs a backup role.

Lin is going to be our starting PG.

You dont sign a guy who doesn't want to come off the bench to a 4 year deal WITH a player option.

Kidd + Felton = 7 million in PG.

Portland sent out their press release. NY Knicks dragging their feet to pretend like they are still entertaining matching Lin.

4yr at 18 million. Final year is a player option.
