is low class. You don't discuss stuff like that in any form of life. Who is Carmelo Anthony to dictate who should or who should not get paid?

Melo's statement that the contract is ridiculous is accurate. He was stating the obvious and had the guts to say it.
Melo earned his max contract, Lin really hasn't earned his new contract yet. Melo still said he would like Lin to return.
The two statements are not mutually exclusive.

yeah, agree again briggs.

for melo to bring up what lin makes shows how insecure melo is. it's pathetic. and the fact that the organization is listening to melo instead of telling him to calm down and stop talking in public about this is pathetic.

I dont think Melo meant it how it reads. I think its more of a shot at the CBA and poison pill contracts not really the amount Lin is making.

What nobody understands is that the Carmelo trade essentially pushed out Walsh. If something like this happens then it's clear you're giving more power to a player than an executive. In this case, the Knicks run their decisions by Carmelo for approval. To think he has no input at all in roster decisions when they've done everything to appease him would be foolish. Dolan is indebted to Melo and will do anything to please him. This much is certain.

He probably didn't but he should keep his dumb mouth shut. Just like when he said that he is playing harder for Woody and got himself into trouble
