The two guys I have seen play who are not signed who look good are Benson and Pullen. Benson looks like he put on some wight since last yera maybe 611-- 245? but hes NBA and you can always use a 6-11 guy who can score who is 24

While it's fine to be looking at SL talent, Woodson is not playing any young guys anymore. The next 3 years will be veterans only. I would be very surprised to see Lin-esque playing time for a young guy at the end of the bench in the next 3 years.

I always feel there are 2-3 roster spots on even a greta team that should be used for a guy like Jeremy Lin--its how the Spurs do it. Banking on our bench success on older guys isnt the smartest idea either. Think about it KT and Camby were Knicks in the 90's

I agree with you but I'm just going by the understanding that Woodson doesn't play young players (Teague in Atlanta) and that the Knicks have been cornering the market at guys who are near 40 (Grant Hill is next on the list).

Fwiw i wanted us to draft keith benson in the second round lazt year. He went before Harrelson though. We could use him and it would he good for him to learn under chandler and camby. He nearly led the ncaa in blocks.

I agree with you Benson is already better than Harrelson and we need a third replacement young big after losing all of ours

Ivan Johnson if we can, especially a 2 year deal? for Vet Min or Benson?

I saw him on Atlanta's summer league too, I remembered he was cut last year by Atlanta.
Most of us wanted a player like Benson late in the draft, instead of Jorts, last summer.
He is having a good summer league, according to stats, not great rebounds and no block shots.
His frame/size is comparable to Camby.

I do agree we should pick up at least 2 players to play that role, since we have an injured player already with Iman for one spot.

What do you think about Copeland and A. Parakhouski on our summer league roster?
Not sure if A. Parakhouski, will make the roster, but he shows good instincts for the game and looks to score down low.

Copeland probably has a shot and can be used to spread the floor.
He has the best chance of making the team, of the entire squad, but most likely won't get PT unless due to injuries.
