beyond all the discussion about the incompetence of the front office for getting no assets in return and giving the rockets 15 days to negotiate without ever making an offer, lets focus on what this means for on the court:

amare now has THREE PGs in felton, kidd, and prigioni who are going to be running PnR with him and trying to get him the ball in a position to finish. the honeymoon is over big fella -- if you don't put up 25 points a game expect boos and calls for a trade. we paid you to be one of the top two big dawgs and thats what you are with points who can get you the ball, produce or deal with the consequences.

melo wants to be the Man. be the Man. best shape of your career, 28-30 PPG, high efficiency offense, energy on D to set the example for everyone else. you want your own team and you want the spotlight to shine solely on your baby face, you got it. sack up and don't wilt under the spotlight like the fugazy poser so so so many knicks fans rightfully think you are.

it all comes back to these two dudes. if they step up this team has the depth to be a contender.

What about Tyson? Is that just house money?

STAT signed here first and proclaimed "knicks are back." melo made us trade half the team and then signed a max offer. most recently he derided lin's contract as ridiculous. these two jokers clearly want to be the two alphas and need to perform. melo was out of shape last year; stat's year was pathetic as he let ego get in the way of production.

chandler last year was exactly what i expect from him next year and throughout. great defender, great rebounder, efficient scorer. he lived up to expectations. neither melo nor stat have.

Oh ... sorry - you are one of those "traded half the team" regurgitater/geniuses - and is now saying that Felton sux. Have fun.

happy Felton's back. was a good player for us and clicked with STAT.

here are a few facts for you: Knicks lost a good player for nothing. we traded two second round picks, cash, and prospects to get a 39 yr old unrestricted free agent and yet received nothing for a 23 yr old RESTRICTED free agent. we totally misplayed our hand and have literally no assets left after the camby/felton trades. it is what it is -- given that, its time for our alleged "superstars" to man up and play like it instead of more excuses and cries for help.

put up or shut up time my friend.

Well it woulda been nice if Tyson showed up for the playoffs.

But anyway, now that we are loaded at PG, it should definitely help our healthy star.

Amare? I think we are in for a bumpy ride.

Anyway you look at it, we are a helluva lot better than last year.

Letting Lin sign an offer sheet with another team was stupid and at least cost us a valuable trading chip

if LIN is truly gone
