In turn Houston can change the contract so that its not as crazy for them and make it front loaded. So in stead of 5-5-15, they can go 11.5-5-5 in a S&T for Lin giving up Kevin Martin.

Lin already signed the offer sheet for that revised, backloaded contract. Therefore, there cannot be a trade- either the Knicks match or the offer sheet becomes the contract with Houston after 3 days.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
