What is Baron's status with the Knicks? Baron is watching summer league sitting next to Woodson. Any idea on how his rehab is going? What is the deal with his contract?

Woody likes vets the older the better.

He says he'll be back, but I think he'll be out at least all season and unfortunately I don't see him recovering to the point he'll be able to play again. He's in a big knee brace at the moment, and rehab will take a lot longer than shumps. A torn patella tendon is one of the worst injuries in basketball. Add to that a torn ACL and meniscus and his age... It's not good.

He was a marginal NBA point guard before blowing out his knee. I can't imagine that he'll ever return to the NBA as a player.

...and Baron has his Knicks shirt on, too. As far as he's concerned, he's still a Knick.

As bad as that knee looked when he went down in the playoffs...and at his age, I believe that Baron may have to hang it up.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

the way he went down, and tried to make a come back to an unbearable amount of pain, I hope we can room room for him somewhere in the organization, outside as a player.
He did say awhile back that he does look to be back on the court one day, hopefully as a backup to Lin, but think he was just praying for the best.

he said he's gonna be out all season - 2012-2013 season. he said for the 2013-4 season he would try to come back and he'd like to come back to the knicks.

i hope he can return, but it's gonna be hard for him to get back.

i think it's pretty cool that he's hanging out with the team.

we actually don't, we signed him a 1 year vet minimum deal after he cleared waivers.

If we would have picked him up form waivers, we would be able to get an exemption of half his salary, which would be a nice amount to have.

If we do want his bird rights, sign him to 2 more years or 2 vet min deals, or 1 year vet minimum to get early bird rights LOL, just saying...
