Artsiom Parakhouski looks like he can be a force down low, wit good hands, a good feel of the game, and an ability to post up.
He looks he can be a 2nd unit player at best and will have much to develop but shows some good instincts.
His lack of athleticism does not bother me. He plays the right way and would open things up for the team.
Not sure if he would be able to defend in the NBA, especially at PF, but he would be a project to adjust to the NBA.
Would like to watch more of him, but with his lack of athleticism, he wouldn't be a defensive force as a rebounder/shot blocker.
He shows good instincts and a feel of the game, uses his body well, gets good post position to establish himself, and good shows timing.
C. Copeland, is shoot is legit, not sure what position he will be in the NBA, but we could always use shooter to space the floor.
Looks like another version of Novak that is much more willing to take any shot he can get off.
Not afraid to shoot the ball, doesn't need much room in the Summer League competition.
He does try on defense, with boxing out, doesn't have a good handle, quick feet, or athleticism.
Like Novak, doesn't have a true position, could be a nice luxury to have on the bench, and become a rotation player.
He won't be able to defend 1st unit players and doesn't have the speed needed defend most SFs.
But he does give the effort, would probably suit the PF as a poor man's stretch 4 better than Novak defensively.
He does establish position for a post/mid post, usually then turning around to use his quick release as his weapon of choice.
I think Tolliver would be the better all round hustle/energy player, while Copeland would be the better shooter.
J. White not many minutes and plays on him so far, but looks like he can be a Deshaun Stevenson type player.
He very much needs to get in shape and wasn't able didn't look like an explosive athlete by any means.
He looks to facilitate and get open shots for others, with a game high 7 assist.
Didn't show a killer instinct that I expected a nickname of "flight" would bring.
Not sure how how much of a shooter he actually is and if he would be a versatile G/F like Gereld Green.
Maybe just needs to get back in shape or his athletic days are much behind him at the age of 30.
As they continue to get blown out, Keeping my eyes on
No one else really looked impressive, as we need better PG play, with many TO's.
Didn't see any impressive speed/quickness or athleticism on the roster.
Russell JR is the best PG/G/ facilitator by far on the team, would be a 3rd/4th string at best in the NBA level.
We need better guard play to initiate the offense before we can get better looks of analyzing the players on many players on the roster.
Wesley Witherspoon probably would be the 4th player that showed a feel of the game.
Nothing spectacular as a forward, not sure SF/PF, looked like a undersized PF.
Mychel Thompson hit a 3pointer, but nothing special.
I think the 2 players that were signed last year but didn't make the roster showed much more skills and potential with Devin Green 6-6 G/F and Chris Hunter PF/C 6-11.
Would have liked to see both players on the summer league roster as they their wasn't a summer league due to the lockout last year.
Devin Green reminded me of a poor man's Wilson Chandler as a journey man that just cannot find a contract.
Chris Hunter is a poor man's Ivan Johnson, decent athleticism/length, and would help as a rotation player at PF and sometimes at 3rd string center.
Ahmad Nivins - didn't get much minutes, he seems to do a little of everything, as tweener forward. Is a poor man's Millsap, without a good FT% shot. Works hard and hustles...
M. Farrakhan - didn't do much, wasn't able to show his ability to dunk like his ESPN high light. Wasn't able to show a good handle, ability to penetrate, or dunk.
W. Russell Jr. - was the best G/F Facilitator on the floor for us, but lacked many a lot of guard play to from the team, to execute
