The past few months, the Nets have been the most mismanaged team in the league. They blew a great opportunity. Dolan is a happy man.

I'll eat my words if they do get Dwight but I think their strategy is basically "it's OK to make bad deals if doing so makes us more attractive to a top FA like Dwight." That is bad thinking.

Their squad is fine as is....they need to get that Kris Humphries situation taken care of.....they don't need Howard.

I'm from Brooklyn so I like the idea of checking out a team with Lopez, Deron, Joe, and Gerald....they have some other nice players too. Sad that Kris Humphries can stay cuz of the Kardashian stuff. Bringing him back would solidify their team

I just wanna say I will never crossover to the nets.....but hey it's my hometown and its ny.....can't knock me

"...from the announced crowd of 4,323" haha... They aren't playing in East Rutherford anymore.

I think Barclays will rival the Garden in attendance this year. There are going to be a LOT of Knicks fans snooping around that arena because Knicks fans are also NBA fans, and now there are truly 82 pro games available to us within a subway ride.

Brook Lopez is easily a top 10 center in the league. The nets can go to war with this squad. They are going to shock a lot of these people who are putting them down.

Lopez has grown on me as a player over the course of his career. Needs to rebound better, and he will never be the defensive force that Howard can be, but he is an excellent offensive player and I can't see why Williams can't make him even better.

Having Humphries around for his toughness would be nice, but with Wallace and Evans on the team, they have some enforcers, and Johnson should spread things out a bit more and allow Williams and Lopez to do some nice things together.

Not making the trade also allows you to keep Brooks.

Still a dangerous team, assuming that Lopez has no lingering effects from his injury.

He's probably one of the better centers in the game, but imo that's more of an indictment on the quality of centers in the NBA than it is a compliment to the Tin Man. He should be fine as long as they keep them joints well oiled.

Howard had back surgery too so I wouldn't want to bring him because of that....he's lost alot of respect with all this nonsense.

LOL at top 10 center line. Reminds me of a much ****tier Brad Daugherty, and Brad Daugherty would clean Bropez clock in his prime.

Can't let his numbers fool you, he's not top-10.
Howard, Bynum, Nene, Chandler, M Gasol, Hibbert, Cousins, Noah, Bogut, Jefferson, Gortat, Monroe, and Horford are 13 i would rather have.

I bet the Nets would have rather maxed out any of those 13 other centers over Lopez ,too.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Well, the one they wanted to max out wanted to be a Net so badly... he opted in to his contract.

Haha that's what I'll always thought his nickname was.

Though some goof will probably force Brooklyn into his first name somehow now.

and now starting at center for your Brooklyn Nets...
