I will miss Jorts the most. He was a surprise all season long and if he didn't injure his hand he would have had an even better year. He didn't have the athleticism but whenever someone come in contact with him while driving to the basket they were stopped in their tracks. He is like a brick wall. Perhaps the tough player we were looking for.

His offense was much better than expected. Can shoot the three, can hit his free throws. Great!

If Houston lets him go, I am for giving him another chance to make the team.

Had enough Melo?

Why does the media play with us? On today's Post article is mentioned the possibility of Jorts returning for the minimum after he is cut. First of all I doubt he is cut, but if so whouldnt that be impossible since we traded him? Or maybe, just maybe, being cut by the Rockets leaves the possibility open?

Getting Jorts back for free would be incredible, and cosmic justice for the crap we endured in injuries this past season.
I would sign him 50 times over for the same stupid money people are thinking we should waste on Laundry Feelds.
Jorts is the happy, homegrown story I can actually root for! The perfect anti-DLee! (Yes, my manhate knows no bounds or expiration dates)

Please Houston, cut the guy! Jorts, play dead! Get sick! Dress like Santa Anna or a Union soldier Civil War re-enactor!

I liked Josh and I though Jordan could become Tyson Chandler-ish but, Douglas, DumDumDouglas, I expect this will likely be his last season as a Pro.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Why would Houston cut Harrelson? He is cheap, young and big- seems like a silly move on their part. Would be glad to bring him back...

the new CBA, prevents players from rejoining teams that traded them, if they get bought out, till a season or a certain amount of period.
That is the reason why Lamar Odom could not return to the Lakers if he was cut by Dallas, he could have been traded back though.
We all would welcome Jorts back, not many bigs has the ability to hit a 3pointer, and be so strong with a soft touch.
He still has much to develop with a great work ethic, he will get there.
This guy barely could run up and down the floor when he was in college, he had NO skills what so ever, was just a big tall body, and he worked REALLY hard to become a PRO athlete.

A late bloomer, that would most likely get a poison pill if he showed consistency this year with improvement from last season.
Had Jort's not been out for a couple of months, he would have improved much more.
After he healed, it took him some time to regain his shot and legs, but stunted his development for a bit.
Like Camby, he might return one day as a Knick, both are fan favorites, hopefully not at the age of 39 though.

Best of luck to Jorts, Jordan, and TD, except when they play against the Knicks.
All 3 has work ethic and heart, it might take some time, but they can develop to efficient role players one day.

Jordan was a raw project, he was going to take a couple years to develop, but I think he can become a Mahimi like player.
He had a decent shot, with the ability to rebound, play defense, some post moves, and a little bit of everything a center should be.
Jordan had trouble adjusting to the NBA, matching up with the athleticism, size, speed/quickness, and skills of NBA pros.

Improving much from his college days, Euro-League BBall, to his D-League/Knick days.
Going to Europe, helped with his fundamentals, and understanding of the game.
Jorts and Jordan, could have probably netted us more value had we had to opportunity to give them some playing time this year.
They both are work hard and have much to learn, but with last years, condensed schedule, meant little to no practices that would have helped them both develop more.

TD, could be a steal for some teams, like The Heat.
He just needs some minor tweaks with his defense, with a little adjustment from everything, and a mentor to help him develop.
Improving on his handle, mid range game, reading defenses, better penetration, and to finish strong when he drives in.
His biggest problem was not being able to find his shot and confidence after shoulder surgery.
Dantoni making him STARTING PG, really hurt his confidence and ego.
If he joins the Heat, he no longer has to facilitate, and his weaknesses would be hidden within the team.
He can become a poor version of Terry, Billups, and Steve Kerr.
Probably Eddie House is his low ceiling...

All 3 could have used some guidance, coaching, and PRACTICE, this season, hopefully they get all that with an opportunity to continue in this league....
Good Luck to them and Thank You for Camby!

I like TD and Jorts, but let's keep it real. Both dudes still had major improvements to make in their games before they could be considered reliable rotation players. TD was even more baffling, because he was a solid reserve a two-year ago and his game disintegrated. I wish them both luck because they played with heart, but fans will move on.
