I havent been able to watch games since the KVH trade cuz my MSG is scrambled... but i see everyone on here all of the sudden hating kurt thomas.. this guy was playing great early on in the season, his D was excellent, and he was knockin down the open jumper... why has he all of the sudden been thrown into the shandon anderson category?

Exactly, Zeke is better than Laydumb but that extension before playoffs was crazy. If so many teams wanted Dirty Kurty why didn't Zeke pull the trigger ?

Kurt's individual D has still been great lately.
It's just that hand is buggin me. It looks to me like it may be throwing his shot off a little. Just let him sit a few games. Sweets and Othella can cover for him.

He's playing too many minutes, and he is being asked to provide more offense than he is capable of. It's also possible that his finger is an increasing problem, which is all the more reason that Sweetney should get more minutes.

kurt's shooting the ball too damn much! thats the problem. If all he did was Rebound and play Defense we would be fine but no. He thinks he's Tim Duncan!

yes theres nothing wrong with KT, he just doesnt have any skills.

his offense consists of a WIDE open mid range shot-THATS IT.

he can make it occasionally. figure it out already LOL wtf skills did you think he had? Zeke is an idiot for resigning him, unless he has some sort of master plan where kt will get shipped next year. KT shouldve been gone instead of kvh-VERY OBVIOUS.

Melo also torched KVH for 30.

The re-signing of KT makes sense only becuase you can't let a guy like him walk for nothing. I would say there is something on the table in the offseason or the Knicks would've traded him for Malik Rose and a 1st rounder.

all the melo highlites i saw had him scoring on others.

Actually, it was reported (per ESPN) that Golden State did not want to make the trade (Dampier) because they were worried that Kurt would opt out at the end of the season. Also, IT did not want to take on Malik Rose's contract (smart move).

I think there will be some interest in Kurt Thomas this summer. His contract is not that bad and Kurt plays good defense and is tough. He would be a great asset for a team that does not need him to score, hence the reason why San Antonio wanted him.

KT's injury prevents him from playing his game, aka banging downlow. He is forced to be a finesses shooter. He has basically been reduced to beind a black Doleac. With less size mind you.
