He sucks. Aight. He blew two games in arrow now. How do you not fell when you are up by 3 and the other team has already wasted almost all their time? How do you not make a change for an entire 4th and 2 OT's when your team clearly is not getting it done. Its awful. I bet this old senile bastard fell aslsleep sometime during the beginning of the 4th. No wonder he got run out of town in Toronto. What a joke of a coah, he needs to reture. Carter was right, the game has passed this old geezer by a long time ago.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Good point. Wilkens has made blunder after blunder the last few games. He's gotta get his act together.

Zeke and Lenny has fooled us all with the instant gratification crap. I would rather have a younger coach with young guys getting run.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Young guys are getting run. Starbury, Nazr, TT, and Sweetney are all playing and all are below 30 years of age. Once Frank Williams gets back, he'll also play. Sweetney is the only person who should be getting more time out of that group, with KT's minutes declining.

Isiah has done a very good job, but Wilkens's substitution patterns are rigid and dumb; his inability to use the rules to his adavantage and to acquaint players with the rules in key spots, is alarming.

Here we go again.

Now Lenny is bad coach? Cause we dropped a close game? Face it, this knick team is NOT that good. They may or may not develop into team capable of securing the 6th spot and maybe suprising us in the playoffs, but the reason we lost a couple was not Lenny Wilkins. We lost to Boston because of poor execution down the stretch (look to the point guard). The reason we lost to Philly was poor execution down the stretch several times over (again look to the point guard).

The truth is, knowing what to do late in the game requires confidence in and familiarity with your teammates... something that can only be built over time. Cut Wilkins some slack. He's around .500 since he started, and considering that the team has been in constant flux and is STILL signing new players with 15 games left, that's an accomplishment.

But I'm sure all of this will make sense after another win or two. If you guys didn't over-react to every final score, what else would you do with your time?

Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

You do realize that execution down the strech is exactly why a coach is even there? Anynbody with rudimental knowlegde of basketball can can coach a game. Its the end of it that matters. That is why Chaney was so bad. He had no clue how to finish. Wilkins is the same way. Its like he does nothing. He expects the players to think themselves. That's hihgly inrealistic in today's NBA, most of them are not that bright. This current NY team has an espcially low bball IQ. They need to tolled what to do and when to do it exactly. They need a control freak coach like JVG simply because they are not bright to put in nice terms.
