It don't take a blind man to see that the Heat keep adding on pieces and its mainly because of the cut Wade, LeBron and Bosh took. They really wanted to play together and they new if all got max pay they could not build this team. Well Melo you got your money and probably when your contract is up you will be joining the Heat. What they are building in Miami is a Dynesty and may be bigger than the Jordan Bulls. We have no chance to compete and that's what piss me off. Money Greed. If Melo wanted to play with his boy during the wedding toast he should have thought how could he do it if him and Amare took all the money. Now we are stuck. So far we did nothing to make us really better for next season if we make the playoffs. Wr are stuck and fuxxked. I hate this system and can't wait for someone with big bucks to come in and start an ABA that have a baseball league type of system. the NBA system is set up to block a team like the Knicks and they keep rewarding teams who gut thier roster in order to get high first round picks. I said it before and I'll say it again we have too many teams in the NBA
He did what is best for him and as fans, we blame him.
Lebron and Wade are is in a different category as Melo, aside form being top DEFENDERS at their position, their versatility and abilities to handle the ball/penetrate/ and post up.
Amare is best suited to play majority of minutes at Center, while he will be a poor defender in that position.
Like Fields, Amare needs a good PG, as well as shooters to space the floor, ball movement, and movement off the ball.
He is what he is, a poor defender, and not as effective unless he is the alpha dog.
Trapped between Melo and Tyson Chandler, he just doesn't fit anymore.
He misses athletic G/Fs in Felton, Gallo, and Wilson Chandler and their "all round games"
Melo and Amare, both want the team/players to play around their strength and abilities.
But neither are good facilitators and ball handlers.
In the right system with the right players, they each can be considered "All Stars" but when are together, they just do not fit well.
Defensively, Amare's inability to compliment Chandler as a defensive anchor of the team really hurts, in addition to his poor rebounding, defensive fundamentals, and "box out"
Offensively, he is unable to spread the floor like stretch PF can, to allow Chandler to go 1v1 for rebounding position, and get good looks cutting.
