"Knicks & Nets would appear to be possibilities for the 6-9 shooter/defender, but might the Lakers take a look as a Matt Barnes replacement?"

I was saying this a minute ago. I would rather have Barnes than White or (someone is gonna crucify me for this) Novak. I know he isn't the greatest scorer, and he doesn't have Novak's stroke, but his DEFENSE and his tenacity, and his ability to stretch the floor would be a phenomenal addition IMO.

I'd be all in on Barnes.

id take barnes but not for novak
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Guy is broken down at this point. I'll bit for the minimum though.

Broken down? He played 63 regular season games, 22.9 minutes per, .450 from the field, .333 from 3pt. Broken down?
He sucked in the playoffs tho...

Dude is a more reliable, tougher Jared Jeffries with a better shot and better passing. I think this is a no-brainer...

I always wondered why Barnes kept having to change teams. His numbers always seemed okay, and he played okay considering his low contracts, but every team let him go- we did too even though he was playing well enough for us (I think to make room for that dog fighting SF who blew the uncontested 360 dunk). Always wondered if there was some underlying issue.

Yea, 8 teams in 10 seasons. Huh...
