How did he get 10 mil when he was forced to retire less than a year ago because of chronic knee problems?? There's a lot of madness this offseason with these contracts, owners locked the players out and are still throwing out ridiculous contracts smh.

Is this really all about the new CBA or is it about owners making dumb decisions that would make under any CBA? I've noticed a bizarre pattern here: every time an owner offers a player too much money, it is considered to be the fault of the new CBA.

It's not the new CBA itself. It's the owners insisting on it because they want to be competitive all around and they want less albatross contracts, yet they continue handing out insane contracts and Dwight Howard is probably leaving his own team to play in Brooklyn.
This was pure greed on the owners part, and now they are looking exposed plus really stupid.
