Looks like we're losing Lin if Jim Dolan doesn't do anything. I personally think we should get rid of Amar'e at this time since we can't have two scoring forwards without stepping on each others toes. Tyson is a great defender but needs help or else he'd be too tired to play like this past season. We can get a defensive journeymen power forward to make that happen. Losing Lin will be too great for two reasons: 1) He makes Knicks lots of $$$, PERIOD. 2) If he can get better, who's not to say he'll be a legit starting point guard in 2-3 years? Obviously we can't keep Amar'e, Carmelo, Tyson and Lin (now that Houston is offering $30mil to him), so I personally think this will work on paper. However, dumping Amar'e will be tricky I think. I don't even know if any team is interested in him at this moment. I haven't looked at the contracts but Amar'e's contract still has 3 more years and about $65 mil. Any hope in this? :(
