A'mare, Tyson and Melo won't be around in the 2-3 years it might take Shump to establish whether or not he's Sprewell or DeShawn Stevenson.

Nash is still Nash for at least 2 more years. Lin is right there to take over at anytime. We might get jr back again too for cheap....

Our time is now!!!! Fuck the future. In the future there will be another Shump. Amire the guy like any other player from afar.

Lets ****ing do this!!! Ring or die muthafukaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

My biggest problem is I thought the knicks were about to develop sort of an identity. I thought we were going to be a solid defensive team built around Lins penetration kick/pick and role with Amare and Carmelo getting his number called enough to keep him happy. Now Nash is coming here are defense is going to suck. In case u havent noticed this team has zero SG's on the roster after we trade Shump and Shandon FIelds leaves. So what we are going to play Nash and lin in the backcourt together? Why the F did we get rid of Dantoni then. Might as well trade Melo for 2 wing players

take a look around the league, are there real 2g other then kobe ray, allen, ginobli and a few others..there are more combo gaurds or sg/sf. I have faith a back court of shump and lin will be good. But I will putt $ on a back court of nash and any decent guard.

If Lin can play with nash for a couple years it would be great for the present and future. obviously The knicks like him enough to explore all options before trading him, but at the end of the day do you hang on to a young guy who can only complement your team, as oppse to a guy who makes you a contender for the next couple of yrs.

We just went through the worst 10 yr stretch in franchise history, and a rebuilding process in the last 2 yrs that was far to slow.

Nobody is listening, bro.

You are going to change the character of the team.

Fields is already gone, and if Shumpert follows, you have given up your two best defenders outside of Chandler. We will not be able to play the kind of D that pushed us into the playoffs last year.

And the Knicks would be inserting Nash into a roster whose existing star rejected his (Nash's) style of offense last year, and making him play with players who will not allow him to do the things he has done in the past to become a star.

This is complete madness.

Our only hope is Nash signs elsewhere or Glen shocks the world and gets us Chris Paul with Nash going to LA & Shump to phoenix

I think we definitely could have, it's not as if LA gave up much. If we had traded one of our seven best players for that package I would have been pissed.

I am told Melo was trying to recruit Nash. 2+2=5... For very large values of 2.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

I saw it on posting and toasting but they credited Hahn for the info. I bet it's hard for you to comprehend the guy you said would nix a deal for Nash trying to make it happen.
