I have never watched him live (hope to do so this summer) but from the videos on YouTube he seems to be at least fairly talented. At just 21 years of age he definitely has the potential to improve his already MVP* (of Eurocup Finals) skills.
I think this is a good and smart move for the organization as it shows that we are thinking out of the box and looking at the future as well as the present.
Had enough Melo?

I don't know how he can be considered "very athletic" when he is that tall and cannot even dunk with ease. In fact I see nothing but layups, I am not sure if he even can dunk. He is no Manu Ginobili, but he is the same similar in build, without the skills, strength, and hops.

I think because the Knicks won the bird's rights case they would be using the roster spot on a vet free agent, the worse. Draft grade the Knicks were given was b on the sites I go to, they also were given an a by Sam amici. Knocks probably would have sent a non euro pick to Europe because of their roster situation.

it seems like he would fit much better with the PRE Melo Knicks A system that focused on TEAM ball and had 2 euro players in them with Gallo and Wilson Chandler. Its like we keep going back and forth with international style of play and 1v1 iso with Melo and Woodson.

i dont expect to ever see this guy in a knix uni...this pick simply tells me that the knix r focused on free agents and they dont wanna spend money on any draft picks that "could be " ok
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I think after they resign their own guys and then add two free agents their roster will be filled. I do think the plan is for Kostas to be a Knick eventually and guys that have seen him play and know the competition are saying good things about him. Maybe the Knicks bring Printzesis in this year now that they have won the bird case.

He could make a nice reinforcement in a year or two as a young veteran who's seen some success. He could be one of those guys that they say would easily be a 1st rounder in next year's draft.

He could be in a Knicks uni in 2013. He has 2 years left on his deal but a $1 million buyout after this season.
