If I were Knicks
I'd try over next few seasons to detach Amare Stoudemire & his contract /back issues to another team whom
can use him possibly short term, thinking D.Howard is gone and Amare can be short term solution at Center
for Magic.
Also Amare is better at C than PF which whole hoops sports world knows
Dwight is on the block as is Hedo & few Magic players. Bad contract or not (Orlando's )
knicks Amare $contract are worse in short & long term. We're winning now we need to
keep getting better & getting rid of pieces that won't fit.
Unforntunately Amare is one of them, even if Knicks win 45 gms next season a good yr.
If Amare starts out having a good season NY need to seriously get talks going to get
some pawn team to take him. That is our hope for draft picks, useful players and
refreshing the team roster.
Melo and Amare, 1 has to go & we know Melo isnt going anywhere soon.
I like Amare & wish this all to work out but it aint gonna! 
The Amare contract & issues will cripple Knicks in several upcoming yrs til' it expires
we know So ? Get the hell out of this contract By All means necessary! asap
