Could Nash and Stat reunite in Toronto?

I'm starting to feel that Stat has become increasingly frustrated with his role with the Knicks and a change of address would be gladly welcomed both both the man himself and Knicks brass. Doing a deal with Toronto would be a win for both teams and could reunite Stat with Nash who he had his best years with. Toronto has cap room and could absorb part of Stats contract freeing up cap for the Knicks to pursue other free agents....and we would get our full MLE since we would be below the lux tax line

Stat to Toronto for forwards Amir Johnson and James Johnson.

To add more speculation to the mix....there's also the remote possibility that MDA's O would be a good fit with that team.

The reasons don't add up.

The "Cut" and "The tweet" don't really add up to a frustrated man with his team.

Just frustrated.

They have to amnesty Calderone to make enough room for nash and I doubt Johnson and Johnson make enough to swap for Amare.

I can't speak for Toronto's ownership but the 60 mil uninsured is a big chunch of change for a smaller market team.

The Reunion of Colangelo, Amare and Nash makes for nice copy.

The Cut and the Tweet don't depict a man upset with his team. Just a man upset.

should mention they still have the rights to Jerryd Bayless and they have Calderon. Not enough minutes if they add Nash.

Stat and melo are not going anywhere
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I think they would also need to put together a roster that can win in the playoffs to attract Nash. Amare is a proven scorer....maybe Caulderan and A. Johnson for Amare would work better for them. Stat would compliment Bargnani.
