Houston has three picks in the top 20 now. I think there are going to be a lot of trades on draft night this year.

They making a run for Dwight.......

Even if a rental.

I think they are banking on Dwights bird rights (with a bad back it could matter) and McHale being able to coach him the offensive goodness.

Could work.

Take risks.

Yep. I like this move for Minny as well. Kahn seems to be able to load up on talent when teams are making moves.

Hmmm... makes sense. Houston still has the Olajuwon connection because he lives there, and Howard has been working with him.

Houston is also rumored to be trying to get Josh Smith which might be more likely.

Budinger is a major upgrade for a team deperate for good perimeter players. Seems like Kahn is finally getting some things right in Minn. It will be a draft with a ton of movement, no doubt.

I love buddinger's game. Knicks could have had him or Blair when they took toney.

if you are Orlando would you give away Howard for Amar'e and all of Houston's 1 round picks and if you are Houston would you be willing to loose all your picks plus give NY Kevin Martin and Scola/Dalembert?

I would for the Knicks but Amare's contract is 20m and those 3 are 30million.

If I was Orlando I would rather have those picks and not have Amare.
They would rather have Martin and Dalembert as they are expirings, with Dalembert not guaranteed contract.

True but they need a reason for fans to watch and Martin and Dalembert will not get you that. It's a pipe dream I know.

Adjusted trade. Houston gets Howard and a filler. Orlando gets 2 or 3 of Houston's 1st rounders plus Amar'e and Lowery. Ny gets Turk and Martin.

I do not think this exactly helps NY on the court at first but maybe they can trade Turk for someone else but at worst he is only on the books one year and then next year Martin and Turk can come off the books.

This trade gives Orlando more room this year under the cap and gives them the ability to ship Nelson somewhere. But
like I said pipe dreams.

If Orlando trades Dwight Howard, they might as well assemble a team that will get high draft picks, with future picks as well.
Ryan Anderson, Jameer Nelson, and Jason Richardson could all possibly net them draft picks.

Instead of Turkeglu, if we could, I would throw in the 2016 draft pick that Denver gets the better of....
I would trade Amare for Kevin Martin and S&T Ryan Anderson.
