I searched for the info.
I'm so surprised that 3 guys in my Top 4 prospects that I didn't know have worked out for the Knicks, did!

Top 5 from this list:
1. Kim English
2. Tony Mitchell
3. Darius Johnson-Odom
4. Quincy Acy
5. Yancy Gates

Bernard James is who I am hoping for at the moment .... Surprised others haven't mentioned him too often.

Because he not expected to be drafted and he's already 27.

If the guy can help us for the next three years while we "go for it" --- I am not worried about his age.

I would be surprised if he is not drafted.

Oh no doubt if he could help, and i think he could be a good player.

I'm only stating why he doesn't get the looks.

Yea, it does Harv. If he re-signs, or if the plan is to re-sign, then my top 5 changes:

1. Quincy Acy
2. Tony Mitchell
3. Wesley Witherspoon
4. Darius Johnson-Odom
5. Robert Sacre

Removed Yancy Gates because I feel there is more upside to Sacre. Anybody else got a Top 5 from this list if we do re-sign Smith and sign a FA PG? (I say this because I don't think we sign a PG from the second round. It's clear we need a vet to pair with Lin, our PG prospect)

I'll be equally surprised if he is.
I'll also be surprised if he doesn't get onto a roster eventually undrafted.

Quincy Acey is an athletic freak at forward that could be available realistic at our 48th pick.
Incredible hops, Jeremy Evans 2.0, who is also a RFA or FA?
Like Kenyon Martin, will come in to the league as a tweener, between the 3/4, and because of his athleticism, he is physically able to contribute in the NBA.

I hope we can trade for some 2nd round picks with many teams that have multiple 2nd picks, even if they are lower than our current 48th pick.
Only team I think I would be looking to use all their picks and continue to acquire more is Cleveland.
I hope we can use this deep draft for talented role players to fill out our bench with 2-4 players.

Unless we can acquire early 2nd rounders, I don't see DJO, Jared Cunningham, and a few others being available.
But there are still solid role players that could be good role players that could be picked after us and even fall out of the draft, like Jae Crowder.
I think Bernard James could fall out out of the draft because of his age, a player that I would be interested in late draft, or summer camp invite.
There are also many PG's that are shooter, facilitators, or the athletic *combo type G with flaws* that could be drafted mid/late or even fall out of the draft.

1) Kim English
2) Quincy Acy
3) KYLE O'QUINN
4) Tony Mitchell
5) Henry Sims

Yea RonRon, me and you on the same page here. Thanks for the brevity homie

So I also had Kim English 1st. But, since JR is probably coming back, we don't need to clog up the 2 spot any more. English won't get the playing time. Assuming we don't sign anyone else, I think Acy is a second-rounder who can actually have an impact on a team next year. He's got NBA tools already.

Stoudemire/Chandler/Harrelson/Acy/JJ as 4/5's isn't bad at all IMO. Lots of talent and skill sets to work with. And if we re-sign Novak with the EBR, it's looking even better from the 3 to the 5.

Kim English seems to be moving up from all the mock drafts.

He has G/F skills and not only can shoot, but has legit guard skills, has heart to play defense, and decent size to play forward.
You can never get enough shooters, especially if they are 2 way players, and have guard skill sets.
He is a good IQ player that doesn't play like he is an all star.

There are a couple of other SGs like Orlando Johnson but I am not sure if he will fall either.
I don't think DJO will be available, not at least with our pick.

If the shooters fall off the draft, there will be good forwards with either good athleticism or mediocre talent like Fields/Chandler.
OR PF/C that could be available.

Role players like Bernard James, Henry Sims, Tony Mitchel

or the freak athletes like Quincy Acy, not sure if Kyle O Quinn will still be there...

There will be plenty of PG's that are pass first or good shooters, that will fall all the way to the end of the 2nd round, maybe out.

Tony Mitchell's got all the right tools to be a great NBA player. I don't care about his mishap at Alabama. He would have been a potential first rounder if he played all season. Let's see where he goes.
