One thing that seems to be a real possibility is the Knicks looking to sign undrafted players this year. They've been working out so many players that are on the edges of the draft that I think they're looking to find a diamond in the rough this year and just sign them outright. I would agree with this idea to invite a few undrafted kids to take a look at. These are the kids they've brought in to workout:

• Quincy Acy, F, 6-7, 235, Baylor, Senior
• Kim English, G, 6-6, 200, Missouri, Senior
• Chris Johnson, F, 6-6, 201, Dayton, Senior
• Greg Mangano, F, 6-10, 240, Yale, Senior
• Tony Mitchell, F, 6-6, 220, Alabama, Junior
• Hollis Thompson, F, 6-8, 212, Georgetown, Junior

• Larry Anderson- 6'5" G, Long Beach State
• Mike Glover- 6'5" PF, Iona
• Drew Gordon- 6'9" PF, New Mexico
• Adam Sollazzo- 6'6" G, East Tennessee State
• Jordan Taylor- 6'2" PG, Wisconsin
• Casper Ware, 5'10" PG, Long Beach State
• Salah Mejri, a 7'1", 26 year-old center from Tunisia

• JaMychal Green- 6'8" PF, Alabama
• Robbie Hummel- 6'8" F, Purdue
• Quincy Roberts- 6'5" G, Grambling State
• Chris Smith- 6'2" G, Louisville
• Jordan Theodore- 6'0" G, Seton Hall
• Alex Young- 6'6" SF, IUPUI

• Dee Bost, 6'2" PG, Mississippi State
• J'Covan Brown, 6'1" G, Texas
• Yancy Gates, 6'9" F/C, Cincinnati
• Troy Gillenwater, 6'8" F, New Mexico State (just played a season in Israel)
• Robert Sacre, 7'0" C, Gonzaga
• Wesley Witherspoon, 6'8" F, Memphis

• Scott Machado (6'1" PG, Iona)
• Miles Plumlee (6'11" C, Duke)
• Oscar Bellfield (6'2" G, UNLV)
• Darius Johnson-Odom (6'2" SG, Marquette)
• Bradford Burgess (6'6" G/F, VCU)
• Cameron Moore (6'10" F/C, UAB)

• Tu Holloway (6'0" PG, Xavier)
• Scoop Jardine (6'2" G, Syracuse)
• Khris Middleton (6'7" F, Texas A&M)
• John Shurna (6'9" F, Northwestern)
• Michael Eric (6'11" C, Temple)
• Bernard James (6'10" C, Florida State)

It would be special to see Acy (one of my Baylor Bears!) on the Knicks.

I use to feel he never grabbed as many rebounds as he should with strength and quickness, but he definitely improved on that his junior/senior year, once Udoh was drafted. Terrific finisher around the rim. Great hustle player, good for the weak-side block. Still needs to work on his jumper, but it did improve during his 4 years.

Definitely needs work, and probably not the player I'd want at 48, but very happy to see the Knicks giving him a look. Summer league him!

Why are we fixated on 6'6" - 6'8" forwards? We need help at SG first IF we re-sign Lin AND get a vet PG. Then we need a backup big. I am not sure Jerome J is ready or will be for major minutes next season.

Jerome Jordan proved that he can score at the NBA level. Decent enough deep bench center. I don't think Gadzuric is going to be back.

What we could use, however, is a bruiser barrel-bodied PF-type to provide a physical presence on D. We technically seem to have that in Jorts.

With Lin as our PG, we'd ideally want to pair him with a veteran PG brought in here to groom him and play steady minutes off the bench. That to me rules out drafting another young PG.

What does that leave? Maybe a tweener forward off the bench, to primarily back up Carmelo?

I like Sacre if he falls to us. He's got size and he's physical. I also like John Shurna as a possible replacement for Novak if he lease. Jardine, if he's in shape, Odom and Jordan Taylor would also be good. I think Jardine and Taylor can be had as free agents. I have a feeling Odom might work himself into the late first round if he keeps improving in workouts. Odom's performace in the athletic combine were impressive.

Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick

I wonder if the Knicks are looking at Salah Mejri in anticipation of moving Jordan in a package for a pick. Regardless, I love that the organization seems to be leaving no stone unturned in a search for talent.

We need a SG. Nothing else matters. Kim English is who I hope we pick.

i think we need front court depth if we cant sign odom

PF/C sacre, sims, plumlee

if we had to pick up a back up PG, (im a fan of TD..please see "so it just occurred to me" post), id take jordan taylor..

hollis thompson and english will be gone by #48 folks

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I'd be thrilled if Acy went to the Knicks. I think he's got legit chance at a long career in the NBA as a back up. The Knicks need depth everywhere

I like this. I hope they do decide to dig deep to fill the slots in the roster, forced or unforced (EBR or no EBR). If they add a SG from the draft, give the vet min to a big (I don't want them too but some dinosaur is gonna get it, I'm with my youth rant), sign that vet PG from the Spanish league, and pick up an undrafted SF to work out and mold, I'd be completely happy with that.

No saviors needed.

It would be nice if they worked out John Jenkins or Lamb(UK). It would be nice to have shooter at the shooting guard position. Jenkins length was a surprise and maybe with a good coach he could learn to use it on D.

He and Doron Lamb would both be excellent gets in the late first round if we can get a pick. I see Jenkins as a more athletic Reddick, and Lamb as a better version of Courtney Lee. Both ideal role playing SGs.

I agree, this draft has a lot of nice role players that could fall out of the draft that could be signed to CHEAP contracts with just part of our MLE.

I'm sure JR would love if we drafted Chris Smith.

From this list, I'd like if we got our hands on:
Plumlee
Machado
Hummel
Ware
