Just bought the regular version, wish I had seen these sooner. Very nice.

Nike, Reebok and Adidas have something against wide feet. I only buy New Balance for my size 13 4E.

I have normal width foot (whatever the measurement is) and only buy New Balance for the same reason. I'm a 15 and the sides of the three brands you mentioned chafe the **** out of the side of my foot is I ran in them. Never had that problem with NB

I've gone from a size 13 to a 14 in the last year, like Ray Allen. Just ordered these, hopefully they will fit cause its hard to get a bball shoe in size 13, let alone 14 in the stores these days.

I used to buy NBs, the problem I have with them is the plastic heal under the fabric, last two pairs gave me real bad blisters.

I no longer buy Nike Air. A podiatrist told me air is a poor form of shock absorption because of how unstable it is, which made sense to me. I've found that shoes with gel instead offer much better absorption. Nike Air is good if you care only about looks though. I could afford to do that in my 20s but not 30s!

Nike Airs are the only shoes I've ever owned over the years that didn't give me any problems with my feet, ankles, or knees. The problem was finding them in my size, and like you said, at the right price. I bought these for only $49.00 in size 14 at foot locker online, so if it doesn't work out its no big thing.

Oh, by "afford," I meant that I don't have the best knees. So my body can't afford shoes that don't give great cushioning!

Got it. Fortunately, Nikes aren't as expensive as they used to be. Not so long ago it wasn't hard to spend $150.00 for a good pair. Now you can get them for under $100.00. When I lived in NY in the early 90s these were my all time favorites. Great support and comfort. Wish Nike still made them.

I hear you... I have not had that problem with any of their 'running' shoes. Cross trainers are a whole different beast. Their running shoes, in my opinion, are the best on the market. And they fit better than all other brands at that size. I know their running shoes can be a bit pricey, but I love how breathable the shoes are

On a somewhat related note if anyone is interested i'm selling the AIr Jordan IVs that just came out in sizes 10,10.5, 13 and 13.5

I also have 2 pairs of Jordan 12s in 10 and 10.5

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Glad someone recognized a bball legend. Philistines!!

The Nikes didn't fit unfortunately, but they are sturdy and give good ankle protection. Getting to the point where I might just try wrapping up the ankles and playing BBall in those new lightweight running shoes that mimic running barefoot. Get a little bit of the speed back that I've lost over the years.

They kind of look like an extension of the Knicks logo. Nice.
