Ariza has won 1

Nazr has a chance to win one, not sure if he won with Spurs before

Marbury won one too, in China!

Nazr has one, I believe. But him and Ariza at least deserve it. If EC wins a ring, the NBA just has to take a long, hard look at itself.

If Curry gets a ring its meaningless. He will have had absolutely nothing to do with them winning a championship. He is just a lucky bystander.

Do you have any idea of his contribution in practice? ... The way he would "clean up" the buffet area and such...

not something he can take any pride in since he contributed nothing to that team. Well be seeing it (the ring) on e-bay one of these days.

Sad. I wasn't rooting for him to fail with Miami but, I never imagined he would succeed either. Its kind of refreshing when ones expectations are met

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

All these guys have rings. Seriously, does it matter?

I hate EC as much as the next disgruntled Knick fan, but the poor guy's irrelevant. Let him slowly fade away in peace. Doesn't this board have enough angst without dredging up more?

This thread ranks up with the Starbles Chinese Championship thread.

Sadly, that is probably true. He blew all the money we gave him (way way more than he ever deserved), which means that this years vet minimum contract is probably the last of his money. As he has failed to earn any other contract, he'll be bust in a few weeks.

And he'll still think he's been hard done by- he's still bitter at us, (seriously how is he deluding himself to think that WE somehow screwed HIM?!), and was grumbling about Miami not wanting him. Pathetic.

Dude is done, needs to get a job as a Sumo or some big fat strip club bouncer or, a theme park ride. Lay Curry on his belly, strap kids to his back and send them down the water slide.

You know what, after hearing Pat Riley give an interview and to hear him say how those losses to the Knicks when he took over the Heat just broke his heart and killed his love of coaching, I found that I no longer hated him.

Personally, I'm not going to jump on the Miami hate bandwagon. People weren't hating on them so much before LeBron signed but now Wade is hated to. Not sure I get it.
Dude is an arrogant prick but, has his prick-ness increased with the addition of LB or is it just a case of guilty by association?

haha, he is the only person on the Heat that I don't dislike, in fact I wish him well.
He played his heart out as a Knick, literally...
I liked him since his early days at Lakers and Golden State as well.

On some night he surprised us with like 18pts 15rbs, 5 block shots, 2 steals, 7/9 FTs kind of nights

and

sometimes he did like 4rebounds 2 block shots 0pts

Being undersized and just as an underdog, while playing with 100% heart is what being a Knick is about...
He was never expected to be a starter and suited as a 7th-10th man when he was at his best, right now he is in decline.
Turiaf made many big stops, rebounds, and blocked many shots last year for us, winning us a lot of games but he was never expected to do that consistently...
He reminds me of a Malik Rose/ Dejuan Blairre, not as skilled as Blairre offensively, all being undersized, and played well in a backup role for a short period of time.
Players like that, it is just a matter of time before their lack of size and skills catch up on them.
As soon as their physical abilities go down a little, their game takes a big step back, to play in the NBA

Yup. Turiaf has been on some pretty good teams, and there's gotta be a reason, and that reason is his heart. He puts it all on the floor. The only upside if Miami wins a ring.

I would be happy for Spolestra. He is a JVG type who came up thru the ranks and worked his tail off. He has really been under a lot of pressure since "the decision" and not all his doing.

Is he a great coach? I think he is a very good work in progress.

I used to like Wade, but not after these playoffs- he used to be a great, tough competitor. Now he flops on nearly every shot (maybe he always did that), then complains to the ref as though he genuinely believes his own acting, or genuinely thinks he should have a different set of rules apply to him. The number of times he failed to get back on defense vs the Celtics, and instead chose to stay back and argue with the ref's is pathetic. He's better than that, but he's just been playing weak and like a diva these past few years.

After the pep rally I lost all respect for Ledouche and D-Whack.

I hope the Thunder destroy Miami!
