the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

The guy is basically Jamal Crawford. That's a good and bad thing.

Crawful was a much worse defender and passer, from what I remember. Crawford also was much more well spoken, and actually did not do stupid **** off the court, ever

Likable? I throw up in my mouth a little every time he jacks up a contested shot...Guard version of Al Harrington with defense.

Your totally missing the point. How many NBA players do you know of that will invite total strangers to go our with the and do this. Talk about being accessible, I wish more ballers were so open and friendly!

i'd like to have JR back. i like the guy a lot. he shouldn't ever be put in the position of needing to create his own shot, but if the team is healthy he won't be.

and when shump and jr are defending together and get in the open floor it's just fun as hell.

I get it, what I dont get is how many people like his actual basketball game...Whether you want to chalk it up to stupidity, selfishness, or a combination he doesn't play smart consistent basketball. If Eddy Curry did this everyone would be making fat jokes and complaining that he was lazy and a bum, worst trade ever, etc... no? and yes he would break that little bike into a million pieces...and then eat them.

He actually is a likeable dude....he was riding bikes around the city the other day.....he was in Brooklyn playing around with some kids today. Dude puts it out there on instagram and twitter......he's a guy that is just enjoying life. Pretty cool.....he just needs to hire someone to catch his tmi moments and remind him of court dates, etc

Its nice and all, but I remember reading about Ewing being one of the least fan friendly players in the league, its what he did on the court. Woodson kept talking to J.R. on the sidelines about one boneheaded play after another and it would go in one ear and out the other.

If we can get him for small change ,I'm ok with that. Smith can play D and can light up the scoreboard now and then just has to play smarter.
