I was pondering this. We dont have the assets to acquire Westbrook directly from OKC anyway.

But hypothetically how good could those 2 be together. I think they could be very good depending on the offense being run.

Both want the ball a lot and both make questionable decisions. Nash is the one guy melo could fit with hyporthetically. Now i know Nash isnt coming here but he could make melo even more dangerous without isos

whats to think about, he plays with the nba scoring leader and he's in the WCF..

Westbrook is a 2 frontin as a 1. Westbrook is a PG and averaged 5.5 assists per game?

Agree, Melo played with a similar player already in Denver (Allen Iverson was still one of the best at that time) and didn’t have much success together so NO I don’t think Melo and Westbrook complement each other well. Now Melo and Harden can be pretty good, since Harden is an excellent passer for a shooting guard.

I don't think they would be a good fit. I agree about them both competing for touches instead of working together.

I think they would be a GREAT fit, assuming that Westbrook would play SG. Let's go to make believe land. Let's say Amar'e for Westbrook. Lin / Westbrook / Shump / Melo / Chandler ... yes, sign me up

A lot of talent, but who can shoot on that team? We need a shooter to keep the defense honest. Harden instead of Westbrook all day.

Yeah, let's add a new black hole to our team as it would be so cool for our ball movement if we had 2 ball stoppers instead of one.

The idea of adding a defender of Westbrook to go with Iman, is very interesting, it would come at the cost of our DPOY with Chandler.
He is a ball stopper that tries to do much more than he should.
No reason why he should take more shots in OKC, when he has talents like Durant and even Harden.
would much rather have Perkins/Harden for Chandler and whoever they want with Fields, Novak, and/or Jorts.
