For those projecting guys to come back new and improved I dont want you to forget the complete epic fall off of Douglas in one season, the regression of Fields for a complete season, Walker turning to complete trash. Fields had the whole lockout season to work on his jumper and handle yet he came back with a total lack of a jumper. Douglas came back with zero skills and no improvement.

We can also include guys like Channing Frye as a perfect example. The guy was NEVER the same after the knee injury.

Depending on guys coming back from injury or young unproven players to come back new and improved is fools gold. Especially for a team trying to compete for a championship. So lets not project guys into the starting lineup just yet.

I didnt expect improvement from them but I didnt expect them to regress either. I think fields will improve his jumper because it honestly can't get worse. Douglas shouldn't be as bad. A real training camp should at least get those guys warmed up and not chucking bricks. There's a lot of questionmarks. Which Amare will we see? Which Lin? The ones that played like all stars or the ones that weren't very effective? First things first I'm just hoping for a healthy season. Too many guys on this roster have a history of injuries.
