I know it was the Bobcats, but STAT over Thomas was nasty.

I'd also like to submit for honorable mention:

JVG: After that play, whatever he said was fine!

Jr smith without a doubt. But for the season I put in the JLIN dunk. I like hearing the players get amped, I saw it in him after that. Playoffs, JR takes the cake.

Def the JR Windmill. But honorable mention for the double alley-oop, that is a special play.

Great post. As far as NBA Jam skill goes, has to be the windmill/double-oop. But as for pure violence and emasculation--STAT on Thomas wins. Good god. More of that please next season sir.

Even though the Stoudemire one against the Bobcats was meaningless, it was very vintage Stoudemire-esque. Reminds me of when he did that all season

This video, brings back some flashes of this season.
I would have to say Iman on KG, just because of how KG prides himself on defense and our rivalry.
Those JR Smith dunks are nice, makes you wonder why anyone would not want him back for that price.
Even if he opts out and we sign him back to the extra 20% raise, he will still be a bargain for his talent.

Looking back at Fields, he improved his penetration, and handle a lot from last year.
Even though, he isn't a SG, he seems to be worth a shot to bring back if it doesn't cost us much, I would say about 2m or so.
If he can improve his shooting, defense, *foot work and speed*, and FINISHING strong, he would be a much more complete player.
In fact he would turn out to be a steal.

Jorts, I give him lots of credit, for improving his game from training camp to this year.
Even though the wrist injury set him back, and it took awhile for him to recover, then get in shape.
He wasn't as effective, since he wasn't able to shoot the ball, lost his touch, and also losing his rotation minutes.
But he continued to work on his game and he improved his ability to post up and added a couple of moves to his arsenal, besides the shot.
I think he has to work on his foot work, slim down more, and gain some speed/quickness.
However, that weight, might lose some of his strength, while gaining some athleticism and speed/quickness.
A reason why he didn't play much is because of his inability to play PF, without the speed, quickness, and athleticism, to defense a PF.
Just because he was capable of hitting the 3point shot and is 6'10, many here feel, we should stick him in as our stretch 4.
He plays good defense for man to man, considering he is undersized, and not much reach, with poor athleticism/speed, he is very strong and not easy to move.
However, he lacks the ability to block shots, especially on the weak side defense.
Unfortunate, h can't penetrate even if his man falls for the pump fake, at the 3point line, with his lack of speed.

Unlike Jerome Jordan, he has a team option, while Jordan has a 2 year deal, but I certainly hope we can retain him.
Whether he can play some PF, could mean the difference for playing time for him.
Right now, I see Jorts more as a 3rd string center, but we have a long summer to go.

Jerome Jordan, he wasn't given much of a chance to play, I think he got a taste of the NBA and it will be up to him this summer to improve.
He showed he had a decent 17 footer, with the heart to play defense.
He is having difficulty, adjusting to the athleticism and speed, in the NBA, but he can come back a lot stronger if he continues to practice and develop his game.

Lin
JR
Fields
Melo
TC

Amare
Iman *assuming he is hurt, will take awhile before he can even rehab then, will take a couple months just to get back in shape, and that is if he fully recovers*
Novak
JJ
Jorts

Jordan
TD
2nd pick
MLE
Bi Annual

We are over 60m with ATM alone *don't 4get Balkman's salary either* and we lose to MLE right at 70 mill to 74m.
So with or without Lin and Novak's bird rights, we might not be able to even use the full MLE.
If we are over 74m, we gain a "Mini MLE" what Battier signed with the Heat.
But that would easily rule out many possible players/candidates.
We still would have our Bi Annual exemption as well, i think. Not sure if we lose the Bi Annual if we are over 74m...

I prefer facial dunks and power dunks.

That Amare on Tyrus was SERIOUS. Especially since you weren't expecting it.

That Shumpert dunk on the Cavs was sweet too.

Definitely a great put back dunk. Wasn't on the Posting and Toasting blog, and there's only 15 slots for the Poll I can put up.

I liked the Landry dunk against the Kings. It was over a center and he had to catch it with part of his body behind the backboard a little. He caught it with 2 hands and his elbows were close to the rim.
