Tyson improves his low block moves and overall offensive game

or

STAT improves his defense and rebounding

thats an easy one. Stat, improving his defense and rebounding alone would likely add half a dozen wins by itself. Tyson could you a 10ft jumper but, unlike Stat, Chandlers limitations don't/didn't hurt the team. He actually proves better offensively then most expected.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

its more realistic that chandler adds to his offensive game. He has the desire, the BB IQ.

He was already better offensively than I expected - very good hands in traffic, high % shots, smart with the ball.

Stat could help more if he could get active on the boards & help defense, but its very unlikely to happen. While stat is dedicated, I don't think he has the BB IQ to pick these things up this late in the game.

I find it hard to believe that Stat doesn't want to put the effort into playing defense. I honestly wonder if he doesn't understand the rotations?

He was never really trained correctly.

He seems like a bright guy - how hard is it to get?

I think Amar'e is actually too skinny to be an effective banger down low. His skininess makes him explosive on the offensive end, but he just doesn't have the girth to box out effectively and hold his ground down low.

Now, compound the fact that he's pretty frail, and that he tends to want to avoid foul trouble so that he can keep playing offense...and it's not exactly shocking that he's an awful defender.

Unfortunately, this type of player rarely is able to be a part of a championship caliber team.

This is why I think he needs to be a 6th man off the bench.

Amar'e is a part of the new breed of Power Forwards that want to be closer to the SF position than the C position.

Today's power forwards like Amar'e, Griffin, Bosh, etc, want to be transition players instead of the back to the basket guys like Duncan, Malone, and Barkley who were far more successful and efficient at their craft.

Rebounding also seems to be a lost art at the 4.

What pays better?

Being a "taj gibson" kind of guy or Amare?

YOu don't get 100 mil for playing defense.

I gotta say chandlers hands were awful. I don't know where you get good from. He has hands of stone.

And if it was just stupidity fine but amare is just lazy as f***. He'll double a guy on the perimeter then trot back to his man as slow as possible.

you are right, and have a point.
but if i could, i would swap Amare for Taj Gibson for each other in a heartbeat, even if they both were payed the same amount.

I think the best case for the Knicks is they are paying pretty good heading into January and Stat is playing well. Make a trade then from a position of power.

Amare Defense... We have enough scoring and why does tyson needs to improve his low post game when our PF hasn't learned a low post game.
