Wife wanted to stay home and watch game. Very cool. Was also watching the NCAA lacrosse game between Univ. Denver vs. UNC Chapel hill.

Denver upset, one goal game!

I don't judge his development versus Melo because Dolan was the one that forced that trade. I think he generally stays out of things but when he gets involved it is similar to a natural disaster.

I agree. I always thought and said that they overpaid and outbid themselves. DW was not ready to cave.

Dolan has a big winner with the Rangers on his hands--this is a dynasty in the making--almost all of their good players are very very young. They play great defense and have some guys who make big plays in big spots. Feisty tough quick its one helluva combination in sports not a high output team---but defense almost always wins in sports.

So I don't watch or pay attention to the Rangers much.... how is it that the same management/ownership can put together such a good team while seemingly flounder with the Knicks so much?

Simple answer. Dolan doesnt care about Hockey. He leaves the gm Glen Sather alone. Who built the legendary Edmonton Oilers which consisted if Gretzky & Messier. Dolan doesn't butt in like he does with the knicks, his toy given to him by his dad Charles in order to keep him from destroying cablevision lol
