Nash knows he's older and he knows he's not going to log as many minute but he can still be an impact on the roster. He can help Lin develop into an even stronger PG.

Just imagine if Knicks had Nash that seems to go forever in a game without slowing down (Nash and Lin rotating in and off the bench) Nash is a good back up to Lin and Lin is a good back up to Nash. There is nothing wrong with that scenario.

Nash can start while Lin carries the 2nd half of the game.

Nash/Lin is a better combination than Lin/Bibby.

Nash playing for LLE? Doubtful.

For all we know the guy could go to the Lakers. Sessions is opting out this summer.

You might be on to something there. California is Nash home state after all. And to be part of the Lakers organization just sweetens the deal even more.

Kobe and Nash in the same team. I can already hear Dan Gilbert bitching about it.

Nash is going to get paid. He was #2 in the league in assists at 10.7 per game playing a 31.6 minutes per game. He also avergaed 12.5 points per game on 53% FG% and 39% from down town.

I don't give a crap how old this guy is, he is still one of the best PG's in the league. No way he's taking chump change to play for the Knicks.

Forget the money...Why would Nash want to come and play on a team where "MelIso" not only pushed his former guru out, but also the kind of offense that made Nash a star?

He just may have taken less $$ if MDA was around, but there is no way he does it to play in our offensive scheme, especially if Woodson is the coach.

I think at this point Nash wants a championship. I am sure he would say nice things about D'Ant and STat but eventually sign in Miami if he leaves Phoenix and takes less money. If he goes for the money he probably ends up back in Dallas.

I remember when Nash used to say it's not always about the money. And I agree with him. He may accept less than what he is worth but as his age is near retirement, he is after the ring and at this point, with the way the so-called Knicks superstars are behaving, I highly doubt he would risk signing with the Knicks. Knicks is not championship contender not because they lack talent. Knicks probably is the most talented if not one of the most talented but their hearts and minds are not in it. They don't have the will at all.

So you know, that he knows that is is older.

And,

Not going to log minutes.

So we got a poster who knows what Nash thinks.

Thats freaking awesome!

Dude, what is he thinking right this very minute?

I think Nash makes NY a legitimate contender providing we add sone cheap 3 pt shooting.

I think Nash has more integrity. He won't sign in Miami. But I don't think he signs here unless We somehow land PJax. Then he'd probably be intrigued.

Nash is better than Lin which means he would start over Lin. The kind of money Lin brings in with Jersey and ticket sales, I don't see that happening.

i think its unfair to keep saying the only reason they would bring back lin is for marketing. I remember seeing him in summer league 2010 and wishing we could gte him. This year the kid proved he could play and before he got hurt he was starting to improve his weaknesses. His defending was getting better, his To's were going down. I think next year with woodson coming back lin will be better.

I didn't mean that he was being brought back only for the marketing. He is a really good player and a very good PG. I was saying that the kinda of money he makes for the Knicks, they would want him to start and get more playing time than other PGs.

I think Nash said he would consider Miami but I think they can only offer him the lower exception. Nash is up there in years and while he is a nutrition guru and stays in great shape, you can't beat father time. I think he goes back to Dallas or ends up in Miami. I think Dallas probably gets Deron so Nash to Miami if he leaves Phoenix is what I think will happen.
