D'Antoni supposedly possible for Orlando.

(Will he try to lure Lin?)

You do realize Dwight wants to touch the ball more not less right?

Wish Mike the best of luck in Orlando, if he does sign there. I'd love to see how Dwight/D'Antoni mix.

Fortunately he can't 'lure' Lin away. Teams can only offer Lintendo the MLE, which we have the option to match.

yes, MDA is such a great communicator. Him and Dwight should get along just fine (sarcasm). I wouldn't do it, Van Gundy is 10x the coach MDA is, not to mention he has done nothing to warrant losing his job.

No but I think he does lure Nash. Nash, reddick, jrich, turk, anderson, howard, jameer, davis not bad at all

MDA and Nash to Phoenix? That would be an outstanding fit.

It would be a smart move for Dantoni career and legacy to go wherever Nash goes

Turk is probably done so they may need a 3. I guess they could shop Nelson to add someone but how would that team stop anyone? I know Jameer is not a Defensive beast so adding Nash is not that much worst but they will need a back up pg to spell Nash because Nelson would probably want a trade anyway to stay a starter. Maybe to the Nets to replace Williams.

Nash is doing fine without Dantoni. Almost singlehandedly got a lottery suns team in the playoffs

If there is a team that would be ideal for D'Antoni, my guess is that it would be the Sixers. Doug Collins is doing a great job there and its clear that the players have bought in. I hope they surprise some higher seeds.

I agree about Orlando. The center position isn't a focus in an MDA offense and if he decided his system came first, look out for Howard. D'Antoni is better off finding a team of younger player with no stars.

Amare played a lot of center in Phoenix. I think Dwight would do great in an MDA offense. He can finish on fast breaks and would have plenty of spacing for pick and rolls since Orlando has so many 3 point shooters.

Its not so much the fast breaks I would be worried about but the half court sets. How would Dwight feel about one 3 after another being launched without the ball going inside? You're right the pick and roll could be dangerous if Dwight gets his touches.

While running MDA's system without changing a word from the book (it'S been documented a lot, I'm not making this up).

If Nash is there that will never be an issue

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Nash would be great with Howard and those shooters. Howard would be enough D for the team and they would be a top 4 seed in the East.

I don't like MDA going after someone's job while he still has it. Low class.

Dwight is an excellent post player. This won't fly with him. Perhaps this all works if we trade Chandler and Amare for him. Win WIn

Sad for Amare "no coach has ever taught me how to play in the post" I would love to learn
