Couldn't find any recent threads discussing him.

Is he a possibility? His stock has dropped since his time here, when he and Amare were starting to do good things.

He could be cheap, help fix what's broken with Amare, and would probably come to camp in better shape than he did with Portland.

Discuss.

He would eat the entire MLE.

This why I hope the Knicks look at possible trades. A few good veterans available in Felton and Jamison.

Felton would be a disaster in this offense. He was awful in Nate's halfcourt offense. Flynn, west, jason kidd are more realistic backup options

Ill take him in a heartbeat...Felton would be the ideal pick up in what the Knicks are trying to do if they keep Woody, defensively and offensively ...

Good question because signing anyone right now to the MLE puts u in a cap situation where u won't have an MLE for the next few years ...They have to sign a PG who they think is ready to compete with the Heat because clearly they are the team to beat in the East...

what in the world would make someone think Felton would succeed in Woodson's primarily halfcourt offense when he played like crap for Nate in Portland in his halfcourt offense and didn't start playing better until Nate was fired. Actually along with Jamal Crawford got Nate fired. Do we really want to add another "coach killer? Maybe we can add Demarcus Cousins too while we are at it!

Come on, coach killer?...Felton used to play here remember?..Felton could be key to getting Amare back to where he was as a force...If Lin can take less, you can play both Felton and Lin in spots...Do you think Lin is ready to take on the Heat as our PG?

maybe maybe not. I know Felton is not ready to take on the Heat. I'm not even sure Nash is ready

That's what makes a market...Knicks have a three year window with the pieces they have...

You can base anything off 1 game where Lin had his worst game as a professional. For all we know Lin was already playing with a messed up knee. For all we know it was part of the reason for his only flaw which was turning the ball over. But again he is virtually a 23yr old rookie PG which plenty of room to get better. And the best part is he has the drive to perfect his game. And he welcomes the pressure of playing in new york and representing the entire Asian community.

Lin is a good young player but people are forgetting he is essentially a rookie...I had my doubts about Shump in the playoffs against the Heat...Asking Lin to perform on that level isn't fair to him...That said, how many rookies out there are commanding a 5 mil per year salary without even knowing how he will withstand the rigors of an entire season??..He is a great story but Knicks are trying to win ball games ...That's why I think he might be willing to take a little less and grow in the organization given what he could get from endorsements...But in today's game it doesn't seem possible..

Not gonna happen since many teams will offer the MLE/money and we will have to match

Also do u think it's fair to ask Chandler, Melo and Amare to wait for this player to grow into the PG that can help them get to the next level??..When things go wrong, no one will be point their fingers at Lin..

Do u think the Knicks can compete with the Heat next year by just adding Lin at PG?

I don't think its fair to the team for Amare to put up a halfass effort over 80% of games
