Man, I was playing some Beasties a couple of weeks ago on my long road trip to SC. I heard Yauch had cancer but I thought he was getting better. Sad times in hip hop.

I used to go to this bar in the Village called the Scrap Bar. It was way more hip than I was and my buddies and I never knew most of the music they were playing. One night we were there and the Beasties song, Mutiny on the Bounty? started with the Zep riff and we were all like yeah, Zep. Rhymin and STealin had just come out and they played the whole album. The next day I got up and bought that beast. When I ran into one of my buddies that was out with me I told him and he had bought it also. Those guys were too hype.
