haha i know, but the man was brought here with expectations. While he has had a string of unfortunate circumstances surround him, he needs to find a way to transcend those and be THE MAN

I think we saw Amare at his peak in year 1 but any human with his injury history will not be able to sustain. However I believe strongly that Amare can be an IMPACT 6th man. We have to look past his salary and at the team in general. We have seen what stubbornness has done to both of our coaches. When we come to grips with what Amare is best fit as--IMHO he has a chance to be a 6th man player of the year type guy--not bad--lets look at the value of Jason Terry the last few years--he has one chip and many games won.

The overlap of him and StarMelo on the floor at the same time still has to be figured out I would think.

Its not being stubborn when you pay a guy that money and just last year he was playing at all star level and MVP level for a stretch.

You thinking Melo at the 4 and ???? at the 3?

Melo can be a 4 with Chandler as 5 and it might be easier to improve 2-3. Ill scrap that if KG would be willing to take the MLE:)

dude will be 30 next year. Last year he scores 25ppg, 9boards and shoots 50% and the priority around here is how to trade him or stick him on the bench.

The declaration this guy is done is bad. When he's LJ we will stick him on the bench.

It seems to me the team has played better featuring Amare on offense then featuring Melo on offense? What is our sampling here? One good month w/ Melo vs. what?

I dont get it... one bad year. Dude's brother was killed. He had to deal with an injury to start the season that also affected his play.

I guess we will let Melo work through his injuries, then work through quitting on a coach and we can still feature him after all these heroic playoff performances while we are short players but Amare gets kicked to the curb.

Amare put up great numbers next to Shaq, with Nash, without Nash, with MDA, without him... etc but he gets kicked to the curb? Wow... ok.

Luckily the business aspect of this game will force the ball out of Melo's hands and into Jeremy Lin's and thank god for that. These stars need to learn to play together.

Need a stretch 4. I think if Phil does come in Knicks should sign Odoms.
