I am a glass half full guy but I am at lost on how any way we can beat the Heat...With Amare out does that mean we start playing as well as we were without him again even though that was all against way weaker teams?? Does that mean we can have the correct spacing again which lets Melo play better and allows are deadly 3 point shooters to be open if he wants to dish it out? Can we borrow Metta World Peace for a little bit to take out Lebron and Dwayne Wade?? Maybe we need a option that no one has ever thought of and send Toney Douglas out there and make him the chase the ball like a pest until he falls out...

Any ideas???

Amare hurt the Knicks chances a lot. But home cooking should do the trick. Bench players usually turn it up at home.

Er, what bench players? We don't have any left! But even though my brain is telling me we have no chance, part of me is still irrationally hopeful that we somehow win. That's the thing with sports- you never know.

The heats defense is easy to beat if you can hit open shots. Like some posters noticed during the last reg season game they will leave the weakside 3 point shooter open all the time to stop penetration. Their defense relies on the ball handler having tunnel vision after he drives. Needless to say we have tunnel vision after we drive to the hoop. The amount of times that weakside 3 pointer is wide open and our players miss that person is staggering. Heat give up the most 3's in the NBA for a reason. The coaches who get paid to notice these things have not. Novak should be in that spot everytime on offense and make them choose do they want melo driving to the hoop with no help or an open Novak 3.

They're such a bad match up for us- their offense thrives on turnovers, while we excel in turning the ball over. Their defense can be beaten with good three point shooting, while three point shooting is one of our weaknesses- bah!

Hard to get open looks without ball movement...we really need a PG. We can't win a series with a stagnant and predictable offense that rely's on the athleticism of just one player.

Good observation, I noticed That Miami defense is borderline illegal. I was wondering where the illegal defense calls were.
