Novak or Smith? I think you have to go with Novak because you need Smith running the semi point with the second unit. Second thought I may go Jorts with Jordan backing up Chandler. What do we have to use. Look what Mahimi? did for Dallas last year. He was servicible and gave a little spark. Sometimes players just need an opportunity.

Ill go with novak too. He should help spread the floor and a power forward will be forced to guard him

If only Jeffries was healthy, he'd instantly improve the SL with his defense.

If we had a healthy and in-shape Walker, he would start at SF and Melo at PF.

The best way would be to have Melo at PF, so it may be Novak, thoug that is trouble defensively.

On second thought, Novak might be an improvement on D over Stat, so seal the deal.

The only thing I think you lose is the occasional block. Also I would like Novak to attempt a layup once. To my eye sometimes it looks like he has a lane when he puts it down but he get scared. Maybe scared is a bad word but he becomes passive. lol
