I was a little baffle as to why we got rid of him for gadzurk (or what ever is name is) when we were suspect at the guard position..even if JJ couldn't go.

I'm not sure who pulled the trigger on that dumb idea with 2 aging pg's that weren't playing real well to begin with. Walker was playing pretty decent in the linsanity stretch

This dude DAN is out of shape, looks lost and has no clue whats going on. Now no shump and 1 sg on the entire roster.

I really like Gadzuric. I think Jeffries knee issues, the need for size, and the opportunity to get a big as good as Gadz that could actually come in and play in the playoffs was why Walker was let go. No one knew that Shump would tear his acl when this move was made. At the time the Knicks had Fields, Shump, and J.R. to play the 2-3.

You bring a guy in 4 or 5 games left, obviously with out taken a real good look at him, and expect him to be a rotation guy in the event of injury or foul trouble..what is jorts.. chop liver.

something tells me it was a woody move...

Gadzuric has been a good, productive player in the nba. He was a free agent this offseason and got injured in China during the lockout. It was reported that he played very well there. He was working his way back but to disregard his career and what a vet big brings is selling him short in my opinion. He hustles, rebounds and plays d and is 6'11.

thats fine if you know whats going on out there, and in shape, but to signed him a week before the playoffs is assinine..Bill walker wasn't exactly tearing it up, but alteast he knew the plays, the players, and can knocked down a few threes here and there.

I guarantee that Gadzuric was in better shape at the time he was signed then Walker. Gadz was playing in the d-l recovering from an injured foot. Walker came back from his injury a bit chunky. You are right about Walker knowing the plays etc but I think the possibility that Jeffries might not be available or could only play limited minutes made the Gadz signing important.

It wouldn't be much of a topic if shump didn't get injured, but even so, why pull the trigger on a deal that doesn't net you much..Jorts is a better option then D gadzuric..

If JR or Shump go down, who do we have to replace them, JJ can't go you still have Jordan and jorts.

A stuggling TD, A aging Bibby (sevicable for about 10 min) davis who's health is about 70% and lin who's injured, and even if we some how make it out of the 2nd rnd( highly unlikely if we lose game 2) do you expect lin to play 30/35 mins..

And to make matters worst, you come straight out after the final game of the season and say you doubt he (gadzuric) will make the rotation..lol..WTF

With JJs knee balky, don't u also consider what happens if chandler goes down in the some way you did for Shump/JR?

It is sounding like Jeffries knee is really bothering him and that the flu might keep Tyson out of game 2. I think getting Gadz was a good move.

But if he's coming off injury, can't give you quality minutes cuase he's out of shape, he's about as good as Jordan at this point.

We have one healthy gaurd (jr)fields can't shoot a lick, and will have all sorts of problems against wade and labron..is gadzuric suppose to gaurd any of those 2. maybe they were thinking Bulls in the first rnd..

Who cares? Bill Walker is in no way a difference maker. If we're going to rely on a random scrub, I'd rather it be a big man.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come
